Remaining silent during the exchange between Quinn, Neelo and Heian, Silvi silently agrees with the old man. This matter, however, would need to be solved later.

Seeing the churned ground, Silvi turns to the rest: "Someone, or something, else is heading the same way as we are. Lots of them..."

The young woman sits down besides the old man, looking at the strange creature. "Do you know what this creature is, Quinn? I have never seen anything like it, yet it is familiar. I think."

Ooc: silvi, and anyone else with nature +5 or greater, will recall that this creature is of a race called kobolds. They are a race of humanoid scavengers very distantly related to dragons.

Vv, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly arcane about the body.

 

[Voda Vosa]

"Nai my child, this is no creature of magic I would know. Maybe the beens that you said followed this track before us slain it." Quinn meditates his words a little bit "But these are just unfounded conjectures."

Well, it looks like it may have been kept prisoner, judging by its wrists and ankles... maybe by the creatures that left those tracks. Can you understand what they might be from those, Silvi? You look pretty good with these sort of things... comments Heian looking at the corpse...

 

[Voda Vosa]

"Ethier way, we should get moving" suggest the old man "I don't want to spend another night here. Not with whatever killed this creature"

Silvi has become increasingly dazed; ceasing to travel ahead of the group and instead following mutely behind you.

You travel for another half hour along dry river bed before Champy begins to climb up a tight trail out of the river bank and further west.

As he does so Quinn notices that the ground has been torn up a great deal here. It looks as though a large group of creatures continued to travel south west along the dry river bed.

When we get closer, if we get closer, we should be careful to study these creatures from a distance, Eldan suggests. They might lead us to others like us, or they might attack us like the shadow creatures did.

 

[Voda Vosa]

"Indeed my young man, but we must be extremely careful. The ground has been torn up here, I presume like some big group of creatures pass through here." the old man says, making an effort to follow Champy, as it doubtless continues his march.
