[4e] [ePoL] Heroic Souls IC (R6 Heian > Monsters > Eldan&Champy > Quinn > Silvi > )

[sblock=Silvi's sense of her surroundings]The forest is wild and untamed. During your nightly trek you saw nothing more developed than animal trails.
Exploring in more detail during the daytime could give you a better idea about the local flora and fauna.

A few large trees are obviously several hundred years old, with long scars along their bark. However almost everything else is newer less than a century for sure.[/sblock]

Quinn examines Silvi's complexion. Now that she's pointed it out; everyone can tell that her skin tone is a deeper sort of reddish pink than it was before.

  • She has some degree of fiendish heritage. It's unusual for it to express this way, generally speaking expression is binary. Either it expresses, and the individual becomes a teifling, or it doesn't and they remain human.
  • She should have some degree of fire resistance as a result of her heritage.

You haven't a clear idea about why it would express now. Your heroic soul may contain that knowledge (and so much more) but in Quinn's current capacity he can tap only a fraction of Hidden Mentor's expertise.

Quinn examines Silvi for a moment, passing his right hand fingers over her arm skinn, while with the other he scratches his beard. "Amazing..." he mutters, rising Silvis arm and putting it down. "Very interesting, indeed..." he mutters again. The old wizard grab Silvi from her shoulders and stares at her eyes for a moment, frowning. He pass his fingers through the girls hair, like searching for something. "Strange..." he states with certain concern in his voice. "Very strange indeed..." he adds. Quinns seems lost, like thinking for himself, as he speaks muted words.

Through Quinns "examination", Silvi asks; "So.. Now we are here... What now? Any of you have any idea where to go, or what to do?"

"Come my child, what I know of your condition I must tell you in private. I fear it is something... quite relevant." Quinn says to Silvi, before walking away enough to not be heard. He waited there, scratching his beard with a thoughtful expression in his face.

Eldan looks up at Neloo's question. As I asked, do we set out after our missing member? Otherwise, I think the wisest course of action is to seek the source of these shadow creatures. We should try to find a way to help them, maybe get them as allies against whatever is afflicting our city. They might prove a formidable force. He gets a far-off look in his eye as he contemplates feeling of leading a powerful army against the dark creatures of the Geeche.

Quinn, arm crossed, looks Eldan for a wile. "I suspect that whatever called Verulo apart from us, is something he must face alone, for thats supposed to be like that. There are no coincidences my friend. We will do well to keep our journey, if we are to meet again, we shall, have no doubt about it." the wizard spoke to the man.
After that he called Silvi "Come, we must not waste time, but this is necessary, you must know my child."

"I just want to get out of here. I'm scared...." says Neeloo, as she stands up and looks around.

"I wish we could just go back home. We didnt have to run and fight before we left..."

Heian looks up at Neeloo, worried, then turns at Eldan: You speak of fighting, of gathering forces... but Kheezan risked his life to get us out of the village. We don't even know who...what we are...that's a priority to me. We're not ready to...free the village from whatever influence it is under...not yet, at least. Then he looks at the horizon, beyiond the trees, and says, thoughtfully I want to find more people, to see if they're different from us, or from the inhabitants of our village, or... I don't know...

Eldan looks quietly at Neeloo and then at Heian. I understand your concerns, he says to the warrior. But remember, your charge is here, mine stayed back in the village. Would you be so ready to learn without acting if Neeloo were still under the Geeche's gaze?

He turns his back in frustration and walks away, to once again look back in the direction of their village. After a moment he returns, looking somewhat composed. Regardless, we are agreed that the best course is to whatever group of people we can find. Does anyone know where to start looking?

Heian stands and looks straight at Eldan's eyes I'm sorry, I spoke carelessly. I understand your concerns., offering his hand to Eldan to shake, wait in his eyes.
