[4e][Paragon] Kombat Kraziness (closed)

some how I didn't realize glib was in such trouble, has he used second wind?

I had some ideas for attacking the dragon -
torments knock them to the ground power
or carrying a melee person up - insubstantial, still allows carrying things.

I have healing left, but it will be 2 rounds (1 round to change back, then a healing power.)

IIRC, Torment has a Word left too. Xak has his healing stuff left too.

Finally. I've been waiting pretty much the whole time for someone to want to knock the dragon prone so it drops out of the air.

I only realized recently that knocking flying creatures prone causes them to fall. Torment has a lot of powers that knock the target prone, but they're mostly melee, I think. It's worth another look, though. Not that I have time to do that ATM.

His level 13 encounter knocks the target prone, and then more importantly grants nearby allies basic attacks (not melee basics) which also knock things prone. So it could be used to grant other characters ranged attacks that might knock the dragon down.

Narbel would know about the lightning vulnerability, so feel free to use your lightning hatchet. PLease let me know exactly hot its being used.

Also, the secondary attack from All Bets still has the weapon keyword -just not the [W] - so I'd think that weapon bonuses apply. The followup attack could just as easily be a smash with the pommel, shaft, flat side of the blade, etc.

I had posted here earlier but it seems my post was lost somehow...
Glib is at 28 hp, and he's only got 2 healing surges left, so if some had a healing power that doesn't require expenditure of healing surges it'd be great.

About powers knocking targets prone, glib has Walking wounded: if it hits, the target is knocked prone, and for the rest of the encounter, falls prone again each time it moves at more than half speed. So it could be good, but I'd prefer to use it with some kind of bonus, since it targets fortitude and only does half damage with no added effect on a miss...

I edited my post to reflect these actions. I used an AP to us ea daily against the dragon, but IC slapped me in the face again. You'd think I'd be used to that by now.

Regardless, if my calculations are correct--big if--I should have done somewhere around 59 points of damage to the shambler, if nothing else.

At least I get a +1 to hit and a +2 to damage against the dragon for the rest of the encounter.

God, I hate invisible castle...

Atatasumthin', if you can get Glib within two squares of Xak, he can slap you with a Lay on Hands. Two squares so that Xak can first attack the shambler he's engaging, shift away and then Lay on Hands.

Good news and bad news: Villain's Menace is melee only, so you can't use it on a thrown attack. So you haven't wasted the daily. OTOH, you don't get the bonus either - and Narbel still missed.

Dang, that would have been some tasty damage if you had hit for lightning damage, and then popped the Daily to do another round of lightning.

People will also heal themselves by spending AP because of Torment.

Inspiring presence? Cool! 38/83 hp sounds better.

Thanks Dalamar, Glib could get there with a double move... I guess the best thing is to move-attack, move-attack and get there in two rounds.
