Tide of Iron, when your target is right next to a pool of lava or bottomless pit. :D
Because you know...falling into lava, you die (no save.)

I'm suprised how evenly-distributed the spread is. I expected there to be a runaway favorite eating up over half the votes (my money was on the ranger), but I'm happy to see that all of them are fairly close...most within ~10% of each other. That tells me that the preview characters, and presumably the classes and races they are designed to portray, are equally balanced and appealing.

The tiefling wizard is not getting nearly enough respect...

Both the ranger and fighter were strong in play, well, except for the rangers tendency to go unconcious (playing an eladrin ranger? consider the toughness feat).

But what I am really surprised about is the reaction to the warlock. This is a charecter with a lot of flavour, and some pretty interesting abilities. Maybe its becuase its a half-elf. :p

I voted Fighter because...

I have always loved playing fighters and rangers, but hated how after a few levels the wizards and clerics stole the show. Now I get a fighter with bone crushing powers. Me Like. (Now I just have to figure out how to train one of my players to be a DM :) ).

Well techincally 3e wizards could cast light quite a lot as well, it was a 0 level spell remember, meaning you could just fill up your 0 slots with it.

Anyhow, I voted ranger. I have to say I hope warlocks are less boring, I wanted to like it the best but couldn't. Maybe its the fey powers but...its just meh. Though witchfire is cool (though a bit too weak)

Riardon, followed closely by Tira and then Kathra.

I was going to play a dragonborn for my first character, but eladrin fey step is really tempting. Now I think I like the idea of an eladrin fighter with some warlock (fey pact) powers.

Kathra Ironforge . . . Tide of Iron and the Combat Challenge abilities are AWESOME! I can't wait to play or see played (since I'll probably DM) a fighter with those powers.

Knucklehead badguy: haha, I'm coming to get your wizard!
Kathra Ironforge: did you just move (or shift) by me? :: smashes enemy with the bonus effect of stopping them from moving :: Why don't you just hang out here with me?
Knucklhead badguy: that's ok, you don't hit that hard.
Kathra Ironforge: no, I don't :: smash with axe and push with shield :: but I can put your ass in a flanked position with my rogue friend who will kill you in about six seconds.

It came down to a coin toss between the Wizard and the Warlock for me. I've always been a sucker for the powers arcane but, of all things, at-will mage hand won me over. The Warlocks seems like it could do alot of damage, though, as long as you don't mind taking a risk or two.
