While you talk, the night, in all its density, creeps sleepily among the depths of Castle Hood’s dungeon. Suddenly, as if roused from some primordial slumber, the quietness of the dungeon evaporates. You hear the sound of a solitary figure lumbering toward your cell. The clanking of his armor and the heaviness of his breathing communicate that your visitor is a tall, powerful being. You hear a raspy intake of breath, and with its exhalation comes a spray of fire that lights the torches mounted in the wall.
Captain Scultone stands before you, bedecked in battle gear and carrying a large sack over his shoulder.
“Prisoners, you have to get up! By Blackmoor’s fist, you have to get up! Your lives are in danger. I’ve just gotten intelligence that says the murderer is still out there, and by the fire in my lungs, he wants you lot dead. His only hope must’ve been one of you taking the fall for him. He must know that the judge was going to acquit you tomorrow. Now, he needs to have you silenced. Take these and go to The Fancy Drake. I’ll meet you there at sunrise, and we’ll hunt the bastard down together. Stay low and stay quiet.”
Scultone unlocks the cell door, opens it, and hands you the bag he was carrying. In it, you find the equipment that was confiscated from you when you were arrested.

“Be careful navigating this dungeon and the castle. There are still patrols about, but they’re loyal to the king. Don’t let them stop you, but by Adele’s mercy, don’t kill ‘em. Now go, before that murdering dog shows up and puts an arrow in all your heads!”
The Captain hoists his battleaxe onto his shoulder and races back across the room and back into the shadows. The six of you are faced with the opportunity to venture an escape up through the dungeon and out of Castle Hood. Scultone’s voice inferred a great sense of urgency.
[sblock=Time to Proceed]You may remain in the cell if you have anything left to talk about. Otherwise, it might be prudent to follow his advice. Passive Insight checks suggest the Captain's truthfulness.[/sblock]
You are in a cramped cell. Most of this floor remains lit by the torch Captain Scultone left. This floor of the dungeon seems about 100 feet long, with two staircases at the opposite end of the room: one goes up, one goes down.
