4e - Thunderspire Labyrinth - OOC

I can certainly see the advantages of starting out with thunderwave. In this game though we are starting at 4th level. We'll see how it turns out.

On another note, this adventure was written by Mike Mearls, let's see what we can do against his encounters.

Yeah, I've read through the module (or at least the first 3/4 ;) ) and I really like some aspects of it, but the whole 2 booklet idea really confuses me. I don't see much benefit to it and there's this first encounter in it, then it says go to book 2. Why didn't they just put it all in book 2?

Anyways, I'm interested to see how it plays out.

No worries, Graf. I'm fine with friendly debate (obviously.) Everyone approaches things a bit differently, and looks for different things in their builds.

I haven't seen the two booklets for Thunerspire, but the two for KotS made some sense. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us. :D

Cool! It doesn't really matter, I was planning on just going dead last ;) But thanks!

For the future, will you be rolling our initiative usually? If that's the case then I won't roll my own ;)

rc,

will johnny up on the warcaster next round.... I can't move and standard in the surprise and he's too far away for anything else.
Considered doing something else, but seemed best to just standard and land some damage.

Makes perfect sense to me, Graf. I was just trying to play the warlord role. Patresh has seen a number of companions die, and he really wants to avoid it happening again, so he tends to be a bit bossy in combat situations. :D
