from what ive seen of what WOTC is doing to 4E, im not impressed, nor will i buy this product. Killing of a major deity in FR, Removing a Core Race to replace it with the Orc Race, Adding Bane to the Core Gods, i personally refuse to accept or use any 4E product at this time.

That's fair. You, like me, are no longer part of thier target audience.

Good for you! Have fun playing 3.5

This simply means one user more to be added to the ignore-function. Quite a handy thing it is.

understand what your saying not going to 4e myself , just dont like what im seeing some i do but not most . but you'll always be able to find some folks around here to talk about od&d,1e,2e,3e,4e, and loads of other systems. so welcome to the boards wolfcannon

:\ :\ :\

The death of a FR deity is one of the reasons you cited for not liking 4e?

Is it April Fool's Day already?

Does this have anything to do with the topic of this thread in any way?

Personally I support 4e, but it has taken me a while to warm up to it, and even then I still have problems with it-- so I can definitely empathize with wolfcannon.

Personally I don't even use the ignore function, but I especially wouldn't just because someone holds a different view and hasn't made a lot of posts. Opinions are rights, not privileges. You don't have to "earn" the right to have an opposing opinion by making x number of posts to prove yourself. But that's just my opinion.

Of course. This is just another thread complaining about 4th edition like all the dozen ones before (some which were explicitely started to rile up the message boards), and I absolutely believe that the one guy who posted that new thread exactly knew that this thread isn't contributing at all, not even in meaningful critiques and suggestions about how to change the oncoming rule edition for everybody to benefit.
Quite contrarily, his very first posting is about that he dislikes the coming 4th edition and has no desire to purchase it, clearly proving that he has nothing to contribute at all. Which for me simply means that his postings are not going to be of any value at all, so that I should simply use the ignore-function that this message board provides.
Anybody else who would feel the same way with my postings can do the same and put me into his ignore-list. It is one of the most reasonable board features that I have encountered.
