Very cool. Maybe the dead foe arising as a mummy should keep all abilities in life in addition to mummy powers? Otherwise, a CR3 mummy will be irrelevant at the levels you meet the Hunefer.

I couldn't remember the CR of the mummy and I didn't have my books with me. I agree that is too low, but then again it was really more for flavor than an actual combat advantage. I could make it a Mummy Lord, CR 17 I think? Or I could leave it a mummy and give it a buff while in the presence of the hunefer. What do you think?

Both could work. The mummy Lord (CR 15) is a spellcaster, which might increase complexity of the encounter further, though.

Haha, well I haven't made those yet. These are all first drafts and I have another thread started for Epic Characters. I plan to put the level 10, 11, 12 spells there, then in the 2nd draft of these monsters I will add the actual spells. So, you can expect them in about 1-2 years! - maybe

No chance in getting a 10th level Necromancer spell within a few weeks is there ;-)

FYI, when I get to my Epic level spells, level 10 spells would be a jump up in power. For example:

8th lvl Fireball: 13d6
9th lvl Fireball: 14d6
10th lvl Fireball: 17d6 (I think - maybe more)
11th lvl Fireball: 20d6 (I think - maybe more)
12th lvl Fireball: 23d6 (I think - maybe more)

They are down on post #9. Please note that these spells are powerful as I consider 10th levels spells "Epic Spells." I haven't added my definition of epic spells yer to the post, but I went ahead and posted some 10th-level necromancy spells or you.
