D&D 5E 5e EPIC MONSTER UPDATES

I have uploaded Titania, the last of the Arch-Fey. Much like her sister (?) she was a tough one for me. I'm not 100% sure I like it, but this draft is done.

I will be updating the compiled download shortly.

I have updated the compiled PDF. You can get it from the downloads section here: http://www.enworld.org/forum/rpgdownloads.php?do=download&downloadid=1331

Please note that I am only updated the printer friendly version. I am not making new statblocks with the backgrounds (at least not until the 3rd / final drafts) and I have removed that download as well as the word and excel templates.

If someone wants to help and would like the templates, just PM your request and email your address and I will send it to you.

I think she is a good attempt. I really like the wand of summer.
Her hp doesn't add up.

I have updated the compiled PDF. I added a Cover page, a table of contents page, and chapter bookmarks. It should be a lot easier to navigate now. Eventually, when these 1st drafts are finished, I plan to add hyperlinks to the ToC as well.

OK, I didn't feel like doing any work today, so... I updated the download again. Now there is a bookmark for every entry. I just enjoy clicking through it. :)

I just realized.

Tomb of annihilation was just recently released.

You need to update Acererak's statblock.

He's quite powerful in the new release. He can cast 3rd level magic and below as at will spells.

Yep, I have it and plan on adding the Acererak lich. The one stated here is the demilich. Not sure if I will add him in these 1st drafts or not.

question, have you balanced these against epic level characters yet? i cant read 77 pages of notes but i wanna do a full campaign that goes from one to twenty and beyond where everyone is a gestalt multiclass and i need to use a lot of these for the plot i have in mind but i wanna make sure its been balanced so that it IS winnable somehow

Not really; however, several people on these forums have used them in their level 20+ campaigns and have reported that they worked well. The issue with D&D is that each group is different and this is only magnified at higher level. If you know what your group is capable of, it shouldn't be to hard to figure out if they can challenge these beast. Take the monsters CR and look at the table in the OP. Check out the expected AC, HP, Attack, & DPR. That should give you the information you need to get a rough idea.

Now, the design intent is that level 20 PCs could challenge a CR 25 to maybe 30 monster (depending on number of PCs, equipment, and optimization). Anything beyond CR should really require lvl 20+ (epic boons or one of the epic level guides on the DMs Guild or my own half backed rules).

Finally, these are drafts developed for design intent. I personally will not start looking at balance until at least the 2nd drafts. But like I said, I have heard they work from others.

EDIT: To clarify that last point, these monsters are balanced around the table/guidelines in the OP. However, I have not personally run them against high level PCs to see how they perform.
