D&D 5E 5e EPIC MONSTER UPDATES

ill be using most of them in this campaign, im going to be using a bunch of your boons and the setting will be an adventure that may or may not be an interplanar war between gods, devils, and mortals due to a reality warping orrery that would fuse all planes of existence into one

the reason i specified gestalt is due to the further power increase from it, especially since even with 2 heroes of different classes a gestalt might just be better than both due to the way abilities may or may not combo together

Sounds pretty epic. If you, or your PCs, are looking to combine gestalt character creation with my epic boons, then the skies the limit! Not sure if anyone can help you balance that - you will just have to give it a try. But once you get a feel for what they can handle, it should translate to all the other epic threats.

oh itll probably end with a buffed up version of cthuhlu, shifting through all the different planes of existence and ending on the material plane where they..they dont kill him they just weaken him enough to get him on their level so he understands what they need to do

Cool. FYI, I will be updating Cthulhu in the near future. I need to bring it in line with the other "Eldritch Titans"

I've just downloaded the updated PDF and spotted something: you reference spell levels higher than 9th (e.g. 10th & 12th w.r.t. Tharizdun) but how spell levels higher than 9th work is not detailed. Perhaps instead you might use 'A Wish cast by a creature with an Epic Bonus of at least +x'? This allows for PCs to gain that Epic Bonus, perhaps as a Feat or a Boon.

Spell levels over 9th level are described (or will be), in my other epic thread: 5e Epic Character Updates

On that thread I have provided boons that allow PCs to gain higher level spells and I have started to describe some of them.

when is the next update for epic characters because its been a WHILE since the last one

Yep, that has been on the back burner. I'm not sure, but probably between the 1st and 2nd drafts of the epic monsters. I want to have the two sets of epic rules coordinated at that point. So, I don't know, 6-12 months? I still have 63+/- epic monsters to finish and I can only get 1-2 done a week. Now if someone(s) steps up to the plate to help, we can shorten that timeframe.
