I talked about asmodeus because their CR was quite close in older editions. And dragons have always been up there when it came to super strong beings. And the ultimate reasoning which I forgot to mention is that dragons that reach great wyrm stage are rarer than rare.

That is a good point, I even mentioned that in my description of the Great dragons. I would consider great wyrms almost unique (I think I will in fact downgrade the 7 canaries to ancient or wyrm status). Ok, how about:

GW Red: CR32
GW Blue: CR31
GW Green: CR30
GW Black: CR29
GW White: CR28

Hey,

I was just wondering if you had ever been able to create a stat block for the greater god, Bane? If so, would you be able to direct me to it as I would be hoping to use it in a west marches campaign.

I made one for 4e, but I haven't converted it to 5e yet. It should go pretty quick and I am starting to work on gods next, so I could bump him up the list. I have 3 epics to do first and then I could update his stat block.

FYI, I know Bane mostly from 4e (and the great Dragon article on him), but I know he predates 4e, but wasn't in the 1e Deities and Demigods. Is there anything in particular that you feel is iconic about him that I should include. What will take the most time in my conversion is the research into previous versions of him as I try to make these updates a combination of various versions.

Also, another dumb question concerning the dragon mechanics: it says that Great Dragons can use a bonus action to either activate or deactivate their Aura of the Wyrm trait. But I notice that there's no time limit on the active Aura. Is it therefore intended and possible for a Great Dragon to have their Aura of the Wyrm up for as long as they want?

The main thing I noticed about him, is his inclusion as one of the dread three and how they want each others power. Though they will begrudgingly help each other as well, that and death really doesn't affect him XD

Yes, that is correct. I am thinking about reducing the damage amount though ( I think I forgot about in my CR calculations!)
