D&D 5E 5E Lifetime Sales in North American Big Box Stores Revealed

Having run both, my feeling is that (as written) those two books have almost nothing to do with each other except geographic proximity. It’s like saying Tootsie is a sequel to The Godfather because both are set in New York City.

They have some ties, one is intended to be used after the former, as shown by the levels, but in combining them they can add some plot hooks to better integrate their stories, like on a purely practical level they were entended to work together, they just didn't do enough to build story ties between them.
