"Seen Components" is an interesting term for spellcasting components...

Can we get a peek at the Spell Components section?
I think it was mentioned that was a replacement for Somatic. Like, it's basically the same thing, but the name change is used to indicate that you can't (easily?) hide your movement.

Thanks! I've been looking forward to seeing those weapon properties. I'm kind of surprised that parrying weapons don't use a reaction. Even if it specifies that you can use the property just once on your turn.

I may be mistaken, but weren't there maneuvers that offer a better parrying option that do require your reaction? I imagine its to be able to stack with those and be sort of deflection specialist.

You're right. There definitely are some maneuvers. I know that the quarterstaff was one of the parrying weapons (thanks to the character sheets Morrus posted), and I imagine that most people who use quarterstaves are casters who don't get maneuvers. I don't know what the other parrying weapons are, of course, but at least some of them have to be martial-friendly.

Edit: Parrying Counter (2nd degree Rapid Current) is one mauever that also adds an expertise die (with reaction). So it's likely that you're right and parrying weapons are built to stack with such maneuvers. And getting +1d6 to your AC is nothing to sneeze at. If rapiers are a parrying weapon, then my swashbuckler duelist will be exceedingly cool. (Now, should I rebuild her as a rogue, even though her rougish skills are minimal, or go straight for fighter.)
