8 power sources. so what are the other 4?

"Marital" power is already in the style guide as a Typo to Watch Out For.

And the Care Bear Stare is an uber-high level daily power, especially when used by Mark Waid's JLA. </geek>

The emo power source centres around these magical rings and lanterns, which are colour-coded to seven different emotions, such as violet=love, indigo=compassion, blue=hope, green=willpower/courage, yellow=fear, orange=avarice and red=hate.

Can't believe no one mentioned THE power source most likely to appear (due to a simple typo):

Marital power source.

Husband - Marital Defender
Wife - Marital Controller
Mother-in-Law - Marital Leader
The Ex - Marital Striker

No no no. The mother-in-law is a monster, specifically a lurker.

Care BEAR or Care BARE? These are potentially very different things...

A power source tied to Bears would be unstoppable, and it would be automatically opposed to the Divine Power Source.

Bears = Godless Killing Machines

As of the recent "Trials of Shazam" miniseries, Atlas was replaced with Apollo.

I'll be dead and buried before I recognize the Apollo heresy. Next you'll be saying that Wonder Woman doesn't fly in an invisible jet anymore.

Martial- physical exploits of warrior might
Psionic-- Pure power of the mind, for some reason separate from Arcane
Divine-- Clerics & Paladins-- stuff related to da Gawdz or planes
Arcane--- Mages & Warlocks, possibly Sorcerers later
Primal-- Nature stuff-- so we could put barbarians & Druids in another book for a $40 ransom
Ki-- for some reason eastern warriors don't draw on martial power...Ninja & Samurai have some sort of difference in how they do what they do than Rogues & Fighters. Probably has something to do with being Asian, but in a world where there is no continent called Asia, it is kind of pretentious.

Corn-- silly weirdness that probably belongs in one of the above categories, but hey, why not sell another $40 book?
CHeese-- also included in the book w/ Corn (and hopefully Ki & Primal)-- or possibly held back to sell in a separate Cheese rulez suppliment for another $40. Depends on what will make most money / how many people will tolerate it.
