A Big Hole In The Rules?

You know, Hong, that's a Cool idea. :)

Making a door invisible, or a barrier, or something really nasty that you sit right in front of a door, or passage, cast Invisibility on it... Then get people to chase or charge atcha.

Bwhaha!

er? I know I'm just adding to this, but... How did we get here? A stupid blunder in my interp of a PrC & Psions a few days ago has some how placed us in a realm where foes are charging in to invisble things (doors or what have you).

By the way if this kinda thing was portable, & you did have some one charge in at you what would be the dmg? 1d6 sub. ????

That's twice now that I've heard people complain about the Ghostwalker, but no explanations have been offered. What are the problems that some of you have with it?

Mine isn't a complaint. It is simply my take on the class. I don't have a problem with players using Ghostwalker. Mechanically it seems sound, conceptionally I think it is a stupid idea for a class and a waste of levels. It is an entire prestige class that seems to exist just so the character can be mysterious. If a character wants to be mysterious take some bard or sorcerer levels and use charms and illusions.

AD&D has yet to publish an effective 10 level officer class but they waste paper and space in a book with bizarrities like Warmaster and Ghostwalker.

Well, I got tired of the constant arguing, because most people've come to the conclusion that Psionics no go with Forsaker. Hong made mention of threads like not being able to see through an invisible door... and I liked the idea. Wala.

Hmm. I'd forgotten about the commoner and the housecat. :D

And if anyone ever hears me talk about heading over to Usenet to post about D&D, please shoot me or have me committed or something.
