General paladin questions:
1) When someone mentions that a paladin should "lose their paladin status", are they meaning permanently?
I think that too many people are in the rules-lawyerish mode when approaching paladins.
Just about every diety allows for penance, and making up for past mistakes.
Wouldn't losing their powers for a time be an effective way of showing the paladin the diety's displeasure with his behavior?
In other words, I think more DM's should consider that as a solution to a paladin making mistakes.
2) What are the "kewlest" powers that people are referring to when they say the paladin gets lots of powerful abilities?
I'm curious....
