A Clash of Earth and Sea (El Jefe Judging) [See Part II]

The hammer speaks "Your heart is pure, your cause is just, my strength in you I shall trust."

It then falls silent. Thrain hands Goruskblain to you.

Moments later, there is a splashing and spluttering sound as Opale and Ducane break the surface. They look whole and well, if naked as jaybirds.

Opale's XP Status

Opale had just made 4th level before she died. Her xp total is therefore readjusted to 1/2 way between 3rd and 4th level, or 4,500 xp.

I think I've allready posted re: Ducane's situation.

Let me know if anyone needs more info.

Charlarn accepts Goruskblain and bows before Thrain. "My thanks to you. I'll carry this with pride." He hangs the hammer from his belt. "What will you do now that your duty is done?"

the cleric reaches into his bag and pulls out a cloak. He wraps it around Opale's shoulders. "Do we have another for Ducane? Did we bring their clothes with us?" To the restored pair, he says, "How are you two?"

OOC: Patlin, what do I need to know about Goruskblain?

Opale open her eyes. She look around, wonderig what his happening. Not even aware she is naked, she accept the cloak Charlarn gives her more because she fells an intense cold, but teh cloak doesn't seems to help. It is only after a moment that she understand what happeninga round her... "Yeah... no... well... as much as a dead person can be well... where are we?"

At its most basic level, it's a +2 Warhammer. That's the tip of the iceberg, and I've put up a proposal thread to get input from other judges before finalizing the item.

"Many duties remain to me, but I am glad to put down the hammer. As powerfull as it is, a trident is more suited to the depths of Mother Ocean."

Iggy smiles and greets his rejuvenated companions. "After you died, we dragged your bodies back to the human encampment. I was knocked unconscious by the exposion that killed you Opale. It was explosive ruins, I believe. A trap. Our only hope was that the merfolk could bring you back, so we went underwater the next day. We figured brining your bodies would attrack sharks, so we left them back in the village, and just brought some of your hair. We figured we'd get you back to the village before our next combat, but It appears we were wrong. Fortunately we brought your gear in the haversack." Iggy scratches his neck.

"The merfolk opened a gate to another merfolk encampment, where we are now. They've given us the hammer that appeared in our vision, so things are going nicely. But they want us to eliminate a group of pirates."

Opale listen to Iggy. "It will strange to see myself dead..." she told to herself with a stange voice. "A trap you said... that was pretty much lame from my part Fransisco and Rinaldo will both think I was stupid to do that, and they are right. I should have left Jack investigate that crystal thing, he would have most likely found the trap..." Opale pause and think about the situation.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Question, on my prepared spell in memory, did I lost some of them? I guess it was a ressurection spell, and in that case I should have lost none. If I had a chance on 2, like in Raise dead, here the spells I kept in memory. Spell not lost in the ressurection: Acid Splash, Detect Magic, Mage Hand, Alter Self[/SBLOCK]

ooc: I think I posted in my "moving stuff along" post that all Ducane and Opale's gear went into the handy haversack. I intended to, anyway. Unless you intentionally left it behind it's with you.

OOC: Whoops, I remember that. Good thinking. I'll edit my prior post.
