OOC: OK. Can everyone remember who all is still in this group? Is Zach still with us? I don't think so. Perhaps Charlarn should go first with Ducain. Then Planus and Iggy, with Opale taking up the rear.

All of the PCs except Jack are together. Unless the question was "have any players gone missing," in which case I must say I'm also curious.

Charlarn of Phyrah: male human cleric 4/ranger 2

Charlarn can go first. With the pirates taking the party seriously, he'll go back to lethal damage.

"We aren't drawing enough attention," Zack notes as they're lining up.

OoC: Sorry, bad habit of mine, not posting anything when I don't really know what my character should do.
I think Xael checks in, but he also tends to rarely post. I guess I could kick him to pipe in.

Jack notices a hollow springy sound as he walks over the roof.

He's also aware that many builders use heavier construction on the walls than in the rafters, due in part to the difficulty of lifting solid timbers up to the necessary height to make roofs out of them

Jack takes a moment to gently pry at the wooden shingles with his dagger, checking to see how loose they might be...

Jack looks it over carefully, and decides he could break in through the roof if he wanted to, but it would take about 5 minutes and be somewhat noisy. He'd need some sort of equipment, such as a saw or crowbar.

Bashing through the door might be easier, but he's a lot less visible up here.

The other party members are fully organized and ready for a fight. Seems to me you have several choices:

1 Charge the fort, a la the light brigade.

2 Charge the docks, hoping to eliminate the two clusters of pirates there before the main force can intervene.

3 Harrass either target while trying to avoid a conclusive engagement.

4 Retreat, hoping they will follow.

Let me know a general strategy, I don't think going round by round, action by action is fruitfull at the moment.
