A Clash of Earth and Sea (El Jefe Judging) [See Part II]

Planus advocates trying to take advantage of their ranged weapons and his low light vision, moving forward and firing off a couple of shots and then melting back.

OOC: He's probably last in command though so wait for Charlarn or Iggy to suggest a course of action.

Jack hatches a plan, and sets to work...

Patlin, here's Jack's idea... First, he'll use his dagger to cut his cloak into pieces -- six thin strips and two large halves. He's going to soak one large half in oil, and leave it spread out on the roof. He'll then climb back down on the side he came up, soak the second large half in oil, and leave it jammed up agains the base of the wall. Finally, he'll retreat back out toward the nearest campfire, where he'll soak the remaining six strips of cloth in oil and tie them around six of his arrows. Once those preparations are complete, he'll hide out near the fire, where he can quickly light his makeshift firearrows and shoot them into the oil-soaked cloak halves, when the opportunity presents itself. Mind you, as usual, he'll be as stealthy as possible all the while.

If circumstances change in the midst of the operation, Jack will re-evaluate the plan, before he continues.

"Let's stay away from the Docks. That's where Jack is trying to destroy the depot. We have to trust that he's OK and doing his job. We don't want to draw any more forces that way. The fort is to odangerous to attack. Let's keep hitting the campfires and small groups."

Iggy tries to get the group silent for a moment, so they can listen. If they can hear voices at one of the campfires, Iggy would like to head that way. They can then attack from the cover of relative darkness.

You're pretty sure no one is left at the campfires. You killed or incapacitated the dumb ones, and the others have congregated into a few (2 and a half, as there are two groups at the docks but they are close enough to help each other) large groups.

"Hmmm. I guess we've got no choice but to go up against a large group. I'd say let's hit the pirates near the docks then. We can move in as quietly as we can, and see what is best once we get closer." says Iggy.

Charlarn of Phyrah: male human cleric 4/ranger 2

"I'm not sure how quiet I can be, but let's go. We need to keep the pirates busy so they don't find Jack." Charlarn hefts Goruskblain.

The party, as stealthilly as possible, heads towards the group at the docks. The pirates are alert now and know the groups general location, so achieving surprise seems unlikely.

Meanwhile, Jack has rigged an oil soaked cloth to the roof. He's preparing to climb down.
