D&D 5E A Compilation of all the Race Changes in Monsters of the Multiverse

Over on Reddit, user KingJackel went through the video leak which came out a few days ago and manually compiled a list of all the changes to races in the book. The changes are quite extensive, with only the fairy and harengon remaining unchanged. The book contains 33 races in total, compiled and updated from previous Dungeons & Dragons books.

Ok, but what is there? Kids read these books. I encourage my kids to read these books. What's in there that's a problem? Also, the art thing has largely been a non-issue in WotC stuff for a while now.

Right at the front.
Why in hell is a woman depicted in that pose?

I think the art helped a lot to make 5e mainstream.
I mean, if you show it around at work, and you have to explain why every woman has breast size DD and in clear view, you don't show it around.

Edit: not that every piece of art was like that before, but some of them.
This is of course very similar to what happened during early 2nd Edition, except it was violence and Satanism that they scrubbed from the art (boob armor remained). It is an appeal to what is considered socially acceptable. As you said, something you can read during lunch at work and not be seen as a freak. But remember, this phase only lasts so long. S&S violence and demonic imagery returned to 2E late in its life cycle.

I've always hated that picture. But it from 14 years ago and a previous edition.

Which is ok. But it is an opt in choice instead of an opt out.
