the entire society is matriarchal; only women are allowed to be spellcasters (many are wizard/clerics), and women are promoted more quickly than men in the military

only people who can prove they are half-elves or decend from half-elves can own land

By half-elves, they are also referring to the half-drow.
In Dambrath, the term half-elf applies to all half-elves, be they half-Silver Elf, half-Gold Elf, half-Drow, etc.

that's true

the term for the original offspring of the human and drow were called Crintri ("noble ones"). now, the term Crintri is used to describe anyone of half-elven or drow descent

"Land can only be owned by the Crintri. For legal purposes, a person must be able to prove themselves 1/32 drow or half-elf to be considered Crintri."
