A Hit Every Round

Tell me what you think of this combo and if it would actually work in your opinion:

A 1st level gladiator (Sword and Fist) receives Improved Feint, which allows a character to feint as a move-equivalent action. A successful feint results in the opponent losing their Dexterity bonus on the next attack from the character who accomplished the feint.

The Expert Tactician feat (revised in Song and Silence) allows a character to receive an extra attack agains anyone they threaten when the threatened character loses their Dexterity bonus. (If I remember correctly.)

Now, assuming a character has the above prestige class and feat, a character can perform a standard action along with feinting as a move equivalent action during their turn. If they succeed in their feint, they can attack immediately as a result of the Expert Tactician feat.

Now, take the same character and give them 1 level of either sorcerer or wizard and equip them with a Wand of True Strike. Hold the Wand of True Strike in the off-hand while wielding a weapon in the other. As a standard action activate the Wand of True Strike. As a move-equivalent action, feint. With a successful feint, the attack action can be taken using the bonus from the Wand of True Strike. Repeat each round. In addition, add the Power Attack feat for more damage.

Is anything wrong or broken with this scenario rules-wise?

Er... it works, but ye gods, that's a nasty combo.

To make it worse, make the gladiator's base class rogue for sneak attack and use magic device and skip the sorcerer or wizard level. Then you get to add in sneak attack damage to add injury to insult.

Seems fine to me.

Until somebody sunders your wand. It's not that the combo is bad, it's just that any reasonably intelligent opponent would figure out that the wand is important. If it's a choice between a non-True Strike AoO and getting whacked every round, I'd take the AoO. Vermin, animals, constructs and such, though. They'd be suckers for this.

Right, to any combo one can come up with there will be a counter. But this one works just fine.

Yeah, to keep up on the time, I tend to open a whole bunch of thread windows, then reply to each in order. The first one might wait several minutes before getting touched.

I wrote more, though. :p

This combo has you giving up your full attack.
So - nothing wrong with it, but, not really amazing
without the SA either.

A question: Can you bluff mindless creatures
(zombies, etc.)?

Picture a psychic warrior/rogue/gladiator with those feats, as well as Deep Impact.

You'll never miss, even though you are Power Attacking, right?

This was part of a smackdown. I wouldn't let the psychic warrior take the gladiator. It may fit the concept, but I doubt the PsiH playtesters looked at Sword and Fist, and vice versa.
