A Paid Trip to Spellhold [D&D 4e]

Issia grins, finally getting a chance to vent her frustrations as she swiftly moves herself towards the group she is most likely to get a large group of foes in her attack range at once, letting the fury in her arcane blood rise, the power flowing readily.

No idea how I managed to roll a zero on initiative, but no biggie I suppose.

At the moment, I'm thinking I should wait until Issia's turn in the initiative order to give my OOC actions though, as I am planning to try to catch as many thieves in my blast as possible, and if they all move before my stated actions complete, I might waste an encounter power.[/sblock]

Taran walks next to the other elf, who almost at the same time, back-pedal to the other door. Both attack the sneaking thieves, effectively. Taran's seed burst into flames that easily catches on the wooden floor, burning the thieves around it, and Thurinar's arrow cleaves into one of the poor fellow's shoulders, before releasing some hidden substance, that static charges the area.
One of the ruffians sprint next to Rudin and slices at him quickly, as not trying to hurt him bad, just to touch him. The barbarian understood too late the reason, as he felt some sort of poison running though his system.
Two bandits from the other side of the room took the initiative and escaped the danger zone created by the elves, not before they felt the fire and electricity effects on their skin.
One of the bandits disappear into the shadows of the room behind, while the other sprints forward and tries to cut the elven druid with his sharpened short blade. He connects, and the druid feels a nasty toxin spreading from the wound.

[sblock=OOC]
I don't know how could IC roll a 0, since I specify a 1d20. For this fight, we'll stick with the current initiatives. Also, Theroc you should notice that your dragonborn has -1 to dexterity, hence, her initiative is -1.
I prefer to manage actions as the initiatives dictates so, in order to avoid confusion; but if you prefer, for the next fight, we could use the "group initiatives" rule[/sblock]

Cliff, his weapon already in his hand, charge the nearest thief from the group to his left, but the Shadow thief easily dodge the coming blow. "You'll fight me like a man or you'll suffer the wrath of Illmater. Get ready to pay for your crime."

[SBLOCK=OOC]Move and Standard action: Charge ST2 but miss: 1d20+8=11, 1d8+4=11
Minor: Challenge him.[/SBLOCK]

Cliff fails to connect to the nimble man, who jumps to a side to avoid being cut in halves.
The barbarian furiously waves his oversized axe at the bandit who has poisoned him, take a fair amount of revenge, as the thief looks surprised at his, blood dripping, brand new wound.
Both thieves turn to the paladin, as he charges violently, and his might blow goes wide. They see the opening and take it. One of the nasty fellows make a quick feet game to position behind the shifter, while the other distracts him with a quick cut that bounces off the steel plating of Cliff's armor. The flanking thug pounces the point of his sword into Ilmater's paladin, but fails to penetrate the protections of the shifter.

On the other side of the room, one of the sneaky men sees an opportunity to deal some nasty wounds to the seeker elf, and quickly maneuvers to get to his back, and stab him viciously. Thurinar manages to dodge most of the blade, but the superficial wound is enough to allow the poison in it to spread.

Keia, if you are ok with it, since the enemies have move along he map, and your current target is blocked, I'll ask you to repost your actions, either editing your previous post, or by posting again.
Reklaw, you should roll a save against poison.[/sblock]

Hey guys, if you leave S11 open, I can hit all three Thieves in the sideroom near Rudin with a Close Blast without risking hitting any allies. Figuring using one of my Encounter powers might soften them up a bit... ;)[/sblock]

Stepping to the middle of the room, Daven winks at Izera and unleashes a painfully screechy falsetto blast, which seems to drive physically into one of the theives' body, knocking him off balance. Hit that one while he's reeling, the bard suggests to his new allies.
[sblock=ooc]Move: move to O11
Standard: Focused Sound vs. S7 hits Ref 19, Roll Lookup for 13 damage, Roll Lookup .
Until the end of my next turn, any attack against S7 scores a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.[/sblock]
[sblock=ooc]I'm not sure how you want to handle my virtue of cunning ability, VV. If this were live, I would have slid Cliff away from the flank after the first miss. [/sblock]

[sblock=OOC] We could handle it in conditionals. If you stated in which situations you would like to apply your immediate interruption, with some priorities, I could work with that. If you have suggestiosn, please make them.[/sblock]
