A public aplogy to Arcady

I would like to publicly tender an apology to Arcady. The other day, I sniped at him a little bit in a post. Whatever our differences, there is no reason to make it personal. It's all just a game, and I apologize for my snarky behavior.

You are a mensch for being willing to apologize to someone. I have seen to many posts where it seems that the writer believes his opinions were carved in stone by the Almighty at Mount Sinai. (The Greyhawk threads in the last days of the old boards were particularly bad.)

In Jewish parlance, from which the term migrated into the New York vernacular, the term signifies much more than "Human". It has connotations of approbation, specifically honor, integrity, and intestinal fortitude.

In other words, "What a guy!"

So I suspect he wasn't on his knees.
