What they realy need are builds for diffrent figjting styles

Why don't we wait and see if players actually embrace the idea of Expertise Dice for monks before asking them to design a whole heap of styles for them?

Remember... right now they're asking us to test the rules and whether ED help express this particular type of monk (a monk that Mearls specifically said was supposed to be an easy carry-over from the 3E version.) It's the 3E monk with 5E mechanics. And thus I don't think they care what our opinions are about it being "boring". They already know how people felt about the fluff of the 3E monk.

For all the claims you've made of wotc's omniscience when it comes to design work, you're making a lot of ungrounded assumptions here yourself about what opinions they care about.

Anyway, complaining that this monk lacks flexibility has nothing to do with fluff. IMO It has to do with trying to wedge several different systems together (passive bonuses/immunities, ki points, and expertise dice) without overloading the class - which WOULD in fact point to a problem with using ED to express this particular kind of monk.
