A short Question

I've been browsing KotS a lot, and I noticed something; assuming dagger proficiency gives a +3 bonus for being accurate, then the halfling pregen's attack roll is at +5=+1(str)+3(prof)+1(rogue).

My question is this: Do small creatures attack like everyone else (no +1 to hit) now?

Yes, small people creatures attack just like everyone else now. Same weapon damage, 'cause they use the same weapons (thought they can't use many two-handed weapons). Same defenses afaik.

Since we are back to the 3.0 weapon size rules (apparently, more or less), then the halfling gets the effective increase in accuracy by being forced to use lighter/higher proficiency value weapons. Instead of using a longsword at proficiency +2, they're forced to use a shortsword at proficiency +3 (I'm not sure on those weapon stats, but hopefully you get the point).
