A Simple Errand (DM:renau1g, Judge: covaithe)

So just dropping by. A couple options:

1. roll off and whoever gets the highest keep it.
2. Someone take it
3. sell it at the end of the adventure and get the 1/5th item gp value.

I rolled randomly for magic item level, it was a 2, then I rolled randomly for which of the "core 3" items it would be, weapon, armor, or neck. So at level 2 neck there's only a handful of choices. So I didn't use the wishlist method. My brain wasn't working too well so I apologize if it's sub-par. However there's 1, maybe 2 more items to be earned this adventure, which will be rolled randomly for players that haven't received anything for this level[/sblock]

Jax holds up the green-gemmed amulet in front of Kalidrev, offering it. "You want?"

ooc: Jax will defer to Kalidrev if you'd like to use it.

Rrek goes over his wounds carefully, cleaning them out and wrapping cloth around those that need it. He ignores the amulet, intent on his first-aid, as basic as it may be.

//Rrek spends 2 healing surges to get back to full. Not sure how many that is but I believe I'm down to 6?//

[sblock=Reklaw]
Sure, let's call it 6. You likely won't need them anyways. Welcome back. No worries about XP, just don't do it again, lest a bolt from an angry deity strike Rrek down ;)[/sblock]

Crag gently pushes the amulet back into Jax's small hands.

"I am more hearty than you are, my small friend. You take this item if it will protect you. I hope it serves you well!"

[sblock=Amulet] I vote to let Jax take it. I'm hoping to get my Cloak of the Walking Wounded.[/sblock]

Jax draws back the amulet from Kalidrev and clasps it around his own throat. "Very nice how it matches my scales!" he states, amused. With the treasure now distributed, Jax shoves his worthless trinkets back into his backpack.

"So, it has been a few minutes. Can we go now? See the next room?" Jax approaches the door with the mud streaming out of it. He keeps his crossbow at the ready.

"It does suit you, Jax," Ingot comments as it regards the amulet on the kobold's chest.

It moves over to the door as well. "Yes, let's proceed. The sooner we can get out of this mud, the better. Oh, and perhaps we should have a light ready, in case it's darker on the other side."

Crag nods to his other warforged companion.

"Should we just throw a light source into the room before we enter? It is not as if any of us are particularly stealthy, besides Jax of course. I will throw in one of my sun rods and then advance into the next room as front guard. What say the rest of you?"

[sblock=tactics] If no-one objects to the plan, then I'll have Crag pull out one of his sun rods and then open the door that seems to be seeping mud. After the door is open, he'll toss in the sun rod and then draw his sword before entering the room. [/sblock]
