A Simple Errand (DM:renau1g, Judge: covaithe)

Jax turns from the door and leaps onto one of the stone tables. Just as excited as he was for the mud, he starts rummaging through his backpack. "Ah, of course! We can look closer at the treasure. Let's see..."

He instantly finds the pouch of gems, but it takes him a few moments to spot the amulet. He extracts a spring, a ball bearing, and three separate pieces of stained glass before finding it.

ooc: Jax made it known to the party, yes. Looking back at the post, it does seem ambiguous, but I didn't intend it that way.

Well I think Rrek's trained in Arcana so he tells you that the neck item is a +1 Amulet of Physical Resolve.

The gems are worth about 200 gp.

Also, if you search the room you find on one of the staff bullywugs a pouch with 200gp in gold coins and 2 potions of healing on the other one.

After the bullywug's potions are identified, Ingot speaks up. "If no one objects, I'd like to take one of those potions please. Good backup in case of an emergency!"
 

Crag nods to the others and takes a moment to repair himself, allowing the arcane energy within his core go to work, restoring him to maximum capability.

Crag is currently at 26 out of 49 HP. Ingot shouldn't waste a healing word on Crag; use them for the others. I'll have Crag spend 2 healing surges to come to full HP. He's still got a TON of healing surges, so no worries there :) This leaves Crag with 11/14 Healing Surges. [/sblock]

Rrek takes a moment to let his head clear, leaning against the wall as Jax searches the room. His head clears and he is able to identify the amulet, thanking his fellow party members as he comes to his senses.

Rrek takes a moment to extend his arcane senses to see if he can feel anything magical emanating from the next room.

"By all means, Ingot, you certainly earned it!" Dorn says, indicating one of the potions. "I already have one of those," he adds. Dorn watches in fascination as the two warforged repair themselves.

Dorn will pass on the potions. He has interest in the amulet only if everyone else passes - it would be better for a front-line combatant. Dorn would gratefully accept a Healing Word if there is one available - it will save him a surge.

After Rrek finishes describing the amulet's properties, Jax nods his head and extends his hand toward the magic item. "I am more useful when I am not slowed down. If the necklace helps for that, I will take it."

ooc: I'd prefer a weapon really, but weakened/slowed/immobilized are all conditions that adversely affect a melee striker. Unless someone else wants it, I'll snatch it up. I'm more ambivalent towards the potion - does Crag want it maybe?

Dorn closes his eyes as Ingot's healing energies cleanse him.

Extra healing brings Dorn exactly back to full. :)
