Well... I don't think I held back. Dragon's are intelligent and when it has around 20-28 hp left and outta most of it's deadliest tools (breath weapon didn't recharge last turn) the most self-preserving move seemed to be to run.
If Crag had saved at start of turn and Dorn could've blasted it and Finch was unblinded from Ingot's saving throw...it might've died this turn.
I wouldn't pull any punches with a TPK. If you die, well, I always have contingency plans. Just in this instance the dragon didn't have a reason to fight to the death...if it comes back...maybe, although it still failed to get a taste of either kobold or half-orc flesh and it's very disappointed by that
