A Teacher for Laynie: Mystery at the Academy (Part 2)

[Bront]

Vanitri chuckles, "Thanks, it's not been easy. I'll let you be. Thanks again."

Vanitri slips back out.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Lex waves and goes back to her book. Misha is waiting in the hall.*

"Shall we return to your room, or would you rather I go back to Omega?"

 

[Bront]

"Wherever you wish my dear. I shan't turn down the warmth of your embrace this eve if you wish to offer it."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Well, why don't we see if your roommate is there. If he is, I shan't disturb him, but otherwise, I'll just stay here--it's closer than walking out there, and it's late to be walking back to Omega anyways."

 

[Bront]

Vanitri nods, "Sounds like a plan." He heads back with Misha to his room.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*When they return, it has been such a short while that it is no surprise that Dolder isn't back yet, so Misha decides to stay with Vanitri, curling up next to him as he goes to sleep and she just drifts into a light trance.*

*When Vanitri awakens, Misha is sitting at a desk, still only in the undergarments she wears at night, as she hasn't brought a change of clothes. Nonetheless, there are two plates of warm breakfast, pancakes and fruit, waiting near her, and her long ears perk when Vanitri stirs, as she turns to get the plates.*

"Oh, Vanitri, you're finally awake. Your roommate didn't come back yet, so I made you some breakfast. After we eat, I'm going to go shower and change and then head off. Good luck on that exam, Vanitri--and I hope I can see you again soon."

 

[Bront]

"You are too kind, and I look forward to studying with you again," he says with a wink.

*Misha smiles and nods.*

"Definitely! Shall we make a date?" she asks.
