A Teacher for Laynie: Mystery at the Academy (Part 2)

[Bront]

"Of course. I could even pull Rambler out of the stables and we could take a ride into town."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"An evening out would be wonderful! Though it would be best if it was evening or later, since...well you know..."

 

[Bront]

Vanitri nods, "I understand. You should go, so you're not late."

He gives her a quick kiss, "And thanks again for breakfast."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"You're welcome, Vanitri," Misha heads off quickly.

(OOC: Vanitri going to do anything right now, or okay to fast forward?)

 

[Bront]

Vanitri will see if he can't track down his roomie before he heads to class.

And of course, he'll gladly find time to study with Misha if she needs help, or just wants the company.

 

[Rystil Arden]

*He can't find his roomie before class, and he heads off to his classes. When he goes to check on Rambler, one of the stable staff comes over, to whisper to him:*

"Hey guy. Apparently one of the other janitors hasn't been seen since last night. Allie Lightwagon is her name. You said to tell you, right?"

 

[Bront]

"Yes, thank you." Vanitri says. He collects what information he can about him, and then heads off to find Lex.

"Lex, there's been another disapearance of a janitor, and have you seen my roomie? He didn't come back last night."

 

[Rystil Arden]

*Allie Lightwagon is a female halfling janitor.*

"Hmm...that's not good. Vreemont? Haven't seen him. Hmm...I hope he hasn't disappeared, even if he is an annoying slob."

"And fat and stinky," Laynie adds, "Did you figure out the answer to the question with the Kissy Elf Lady, Mister Vanitri?"

"And what 'kissy eld lady' was this?" Lex raises an eyebrow inquiringly.

 

[Bront]

"Her name is Misha Laynie, and we managed to figure things out much better after you helped us, thank you."

"Yeah, but that would be 2 in one night, so I don't think so, and he's human. But, we can't take it lightly, care to help me look?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Well, they haven't exactly been at regular intervals. If we consider the time between the disappearances to be essentially random, then it could be possible to have two in one night. However, since he was a human, I'd agree with you that it seems unlikely," Lex posits.

"Maybe he was actually half-pig," Laynie offers.

"Wait, did you say Misha? You mean dark elf Misha, Vanitri? She's dangerous!"
