A Teacher for Laynie: Mystery at the Academy (Part 2)

*They head to the Healing Ward, where sick and injured students are treated by several priests on staff. Dolder Vreemont is nowhere to be seen, so Vanitri asks around after him while he has Laynie get a checkup.*

"I'm sorry, but I haven't seen anyone like that here," the young elven trainee replies, as she heads over to check on a patient.
OOC: Fixed it. He was going to have her get a check up, just to make sure she's ok :) Tricky freefolk ;)

"Oh, well that's good then. Thank you very much."

"You're welcome," she replies simply.

*Later the same trainee heads back to Vanitri with Laynie.*

"She seems to be in perfect physical condition and free from diseases. The only thing of note is that she scored abnormally well for her age on the vision, coordination, memory, and mental acuity tests, so that basically just means she is extremely gifted."

"Good to hear. Never hurts to have a healer look at you every once an a while. Or in some cases, look at a healer," he says with a wink and a silly grin.

Vanitri will look around for his roomie with Laynie.

"Hmm?" she asks, not sure she understands the idiom.

*Laynie and Vanitri look around at Dolder Vreemont's favourite places, the dining halls, the kitchens, and others. They don't find him at any of them.*

Vanitri will check in some of Dolder's classes to see if he's been to them. If that fails, he'll find his Housemistress.

*Checking with his classes, it appears Dolder has missed them today, although he was there yesterday. Vanitri heads up and waits for a chance to talk to Rayne.*

"Hello there, Vanitri. Would you care for some tea?"

"Yes, but I'm not sure I have time. Dolder is missing. Or at least I can't find him. He wasn't in class today, and he never came back to the room last night."

"Yes, sadly we are aware of that. And I was hoping our heightened security would suffice--we hadn't lost a student in a long time until now, compared to the early disappearances."

"Well, it was more of a guess based on the fact that he missed all his classes. We just finished checking in the usual places, and we were going to inform you when we found you."
