A Teacher for Laynie: Mystery at the Academy (Part 2)

[Rystil Arden]

*Laynie shakes her head.*

"Nah, I'll stay with you Mister Vanitri."

"Aww, you poor dears. Tell you what--I'll change my schedule a little bit so that I never have both of me sleeping at the same time. Why don't you two take the second bed? If I can't handle it, then I'll sleep on the floor with one of me."

 

[Bront]

"You're still welcome to join us as well Lex," Vanitri says with a grin.

OOC: Sleep is good

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Nope--gotta do homework."

*Laynie cuddles up next to Vanitri in bed and they drift off to sleep, waking early the next day for the exams.*

*The Elektra who is awake at the moment yawns.*

"Good luck to you Vanitri!"

 

[Bront]

"You too Lex. Laynie, you help Lex out and be a good girl, I'll be back after class."

OOC: He'll head off to class.

 

[Rystil Arden]

"Sure! I'm going to find some new books too!"

"Take care Vanitri!"

*Vanitri tries his best on the tests, but there is indeed one flow diagram problem--at least it is only a minority of the exam, though, and thankfully, it is similar to one of the ones that Laynie immediately solved for Vanitri and Misha earlier.*

*Eventually, classes finish for the day, and he can head back to Laynie and Elektra.*

"How was the test?"

"I bet Mister Vanitri won everything right!"

 

[Bront]

"Not too bad. And I did my best, which is all I can ask for," Vanitri says.

"So, any great insight Lex?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"No, but I've been tempted to go check on that library myself to find a map. I almost went off, but Laynie told me to wait for you, though, and I realised that if even a little girl could see that I'm being foolish, then I was the one being the little girl."

 

[Bront]

Vanitri nods. "I've outwitted a group of goblins by sneaking around in broad daylight in the woods. Sneaking around while invisable suits me much better."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I would agree. Apparently invisble you outwitted Kharisa Valpyren. Ready to go check for a map for us?"

 

[Bront]

"Sure, and maybe some other notes. Give me that book that makes notes, maybe I can find something extra useful there."
