(OOC: Ohhh, right. I knew I had heard it before. The reason search failed is because you spelled brilliant without a 't' back there :D)

*An elderly human priestess heads over at the sound of Vanitri's voice.*

"Ah, you're awake. Good, good. Glad to see that you are feeling better now," she says.

"If this is better, I'm glad I wasn't fealing before," Vanitri says with a chuckle that's intertupted by pain. "Thank you though. Much rather be here than the alternitive, and I certaintly don't mean class... well, for the most part at least."

"Don't worry, they cancelled class that first day after Housemistress Valpyren sent that Sending indicating to evacuate temporarily. And I hardly think the professors are going to begrudge you the four days of class you did miss. After all, many are styling you a hero now, for what you've done. You fought off the Dark Lord and two horrible creatures of stitched flesh, if I hear right...Oh, but Housemistress Valpyren specifically mentioned that I should add that she is still giving three discipline demerits on your behalf to Daryne for entering the Demesnes of Mysteries. Though she did seem a bit more half-hearted about it than usual."

"No good deed goes unpunished, eh?" Vanitri chuckles weakly. "How's Laynie and Lex? Is Rayne going to be ok?"

"I guess so. I think it was more of the trangression against Academy rules that was punished, despite the good deeds."

"Elektra is actually fine. She had taken some sort of nonlethal mental shock that wore off after only a few hours and left her with little more than a snake bite. Truman, on the other hand, was badly poisoned, and had to be treated for it. Laynie was the picture of health--in fact, she has improved by nearly 50% on most every test since her last checkup, which is unusual given that her last checkup was less than a month ago. Rayne is probably going to be fine, but she took a hard blow to the head, and we had to let her rest and recover so we could ease the pain and ensure that she does not take any kind of brain damage. As it is, her memory of the past fews days before being knocked out might be hazy, or it might not, but other than that, she's going to have a complete recovery.

"Well, that's good then. And what's the verdict with me, am I a going to live?" he asks with grin.

OOC: L5 posted and sent for approval, which shouldn't be too hard now ;)

"Yes, you're going to be fine now. You got beaten up pretty badly and had some broken bones. You'll probably need to exercise a bit to get back into shape fully after being out of it for a week, but you seem stronger somehow too, so I'm sure you'll be back on your feet in no time."
