A Teacher for Laynie: Mystery at the Academy (Part 2)

"If you stay with us here...maybe you can be more..." Sarya-Lex hesitates, "Though I know of your wanderlust, so I realise that you will almost-certainly leave us after the Journeyman's. So promise me--you'll come back soon with stories of your adventures to complete your degree. Maybe by then I'll be advanced enough to be your TA!" she laughs.

"Well, just because I'm leaving doesn't mean we can't enjoy eachother's company while I'm here," Vanitri says with a smile. He leans forward to kiss Sarya-Lex.

OOC: I almost had him lean forward to Kill her

(OOC: That typo would have been awesome--nobody realised that the REAL Dark Lord was actually......Vanitri himself! )

"Yes, I do know that," Sarya-Lex agrees, "And I can't help but think that I want to now more than ever. Did you put something in my drink?" she jokes lightly, sharing a laugh with Kitty-Lex.

Vanitri whistles inocently for a moment before laughing, "No, nothing more than the wine."

"Things with the 'folk are different. We make the best use of what time we have, and when someone must leave, they leave knowing they'll always have plesant memories of the other."
He draws Sarya-Lex into a tender kiss. "Lex, even right now I have many pleasant memories with you, but I cerntantly wouldn't turn down a chance at more of them."

"That's an interesting philosophy," Kitty-Lex ponders on the sidelines, as Vanitri kisses Sarya-Lex, "But I do think that most people in this world live not just for memories but also for the comforting touch of loved ones, the warm secure feeling of knowing those you care about will always be there for you in your time of need and will never abandon you, and the happiness that comes from being near."

Vanitri turns to Kitty-Lex, "And some do that. But who would stand in the way of the nature of a loved one? I could not fairly ask for you to leave before your time, though I would love for you to come with. I make no promises that I will stay, but I don't promise to leave either. I just know that I would enjoy the time we shared togeather." He draws Kitty-Lex into a tender kiss.

"Well, it isn't many men who would turn down the chance to be with two girls at once without the possibility of one of them getting jealous," Sarya-Lex laughs, "And besides, we only ever really have at most one major adventure per school year, so it should be a fairly bog-standard rest of the next two terms, which is a nice breather. You don't have to worry that all your time here will be like the last hectic months!"

"Well, then I think that presents a unique oppertunity for us then, does it not?" Vanitri says, wiggling his eyebrows ever so cheesily.

"But seriously Lex. You have ment a lot to me since I've been here, and I'm glad you were with me through it all. And hectic or not, I'd gladly enjoy time togeather. And I know I'm not alone. Laynie loves you as well, and she looks up to you."

"Then why does she look to go to you every chance she gets?" Vanitri asks. "Lex, don't doubt yourself. You've no need to."

"Now, what were we saying about exploring posibilities?"
