"A user-friendly d100"

I totally agree with you, Tony. :) I had a year with a player who just couldn't get the hang of THAC0. Explaining it every session was... annoying.

I had a Player during 2nd Edition that--when I asked her to roll a die--always asked, "Do I want high or low?"

But do you have the old d20s that have 0-9 on them twice, so you have to fill in one set of the numbers with a crayon?

AARGH! We had a player who had one of these and refused to give it up. He painted the faces (not the numbers, which were still impossible to see even if you were sitting next to him) of one set of 0-9 with Witeout to distinguish them from the other set, but never told us which color was 11-20. When we banned that die, he brought another one, an old "gem" one where the numbers were really tiny and not painted in (remember those?). Even he couldn't read the numbers on it.

The worst part - it wasn't that he was cheating, he just refused to buy new dice. :lol:

Yeah, but once you learned it, it never goes away ... no matter how many electroshock treatments you've had to wipe it out of your mind.

* twitches * :\

Wait, are we talking about THAC0 or percentile dice?
