What combat rules and options receive coverage?
This is mainly covered in Ch. 4 -- Fantasy Warfare and includes:

1. Historical vs. Modern-Inspired Warfare
2. A Mercenary Campaign
3. Sporting Combat (Jousts, Gladitorial Combat, etc.)
4. Magic Items
5. Warriors in the Campaign
6. Warrior Organization (Order of the Bow, etc.)
7. Deities and Warriors
8. The Epic Warrior
9. A Warrior and His Weapons

How many Archery related prestige classes? Do you mind listing them?
Here are the ones that are obvious geared towards archers:

1. Master Thrower (not really archery, but throwing stuff; 5 levels)
2. Order of the Bow Initiate (10 levels)

These are the only one specifically geared toward archers (though not 1 really). There are other classes that might work well with an archer but are not specifically geared towards one.

Also there are two new types of feats, Tactical and Weapon Style. The former allows you to perform 3 manuevers per feat. The latter allows you special bonuses when wielding specific types of weapon(s).

Is the OBI notably different than the one in Sword and Fist?

If you can, give us a short description of the feat, and the PrC that you think are more ripe for powergaming(In short, tell us what the next character in Jollydock's campaign will be,if Ajax bites the dust. :D )

I don't have the original S&F but the pre-reqs look the same.

Also, they get:

1. Ranged precision shot +1d8 at 1st level and +1d8 every two levels after that. As a standard action, if you fire your bow within 30 ft you get the base arrow damage plus the ranged precision. Your foe need not be flat-footed, but if he is then it stacks with sneak attack (if you have it).

2. 2nd level you don't provoke AoO for firing a bow.

3. 4th level = Greater Weapon Focus feat

4. 6th level = Sharp-Shooting feat (your targets that have cover recieve only a +2 to AC instead of +4)

5. 10th level = you can use your ranged precise shot from up to 60 ft away

Fighter BAB, Bard saves, d8 HD

Pre-req
+5 BAB
5 ranks in Craft (bowmanking), 2 ranks Knowledge (religion)
Point Blank, Precise, Rapid Shot
WF (some type of bow, but not crossbow)
