Will you be doing them in colors other than blue?

Yeah. More colors should be coming soon. I am just still figuring out what I am doing and a studio regular has been begging for blue, so I aimed my tests in that direction.

This is all new to me. I am used to surrendering pots to wood ash and flame and salt, or rakuing and getting random smoke patterns. This level of detail and control is somehting I am just toying with.

More results as I get them.

I don't know yet. Theoretically the zinc-silicate glaze shold be pretty soft. I need to test that one.

Those are glorious! And that shade of blue is one of my favorites, and also one of my mother's favorites; I'm keeping this in mind come Christmastime.
