D&D 5E Aasimar & Tiefling offspring

Official fluff says the child would be a Tiefling.

The Tiefling heritage overpowers any heritage from their partners so a no matter the mate the child is always a Tiefling.

You can do what ever you want of course, but that is the current fluff on it.

3 Options:

1. Cancels each other out - pure Human.
2. One parent's pedigree takes the race and the other locks in your class as a character (great for a character who seeks to develop a connection with the parent they didn't inherit their race from). Examples below:
--2a. Aasimar + Fiend Pact Warlock
--2b. Tiefling + Celestial Pact Warlock
--2c. Aasimar + as-of-yet-unreleased Fiendblooded Sorcerer (was a Theme in 4e, could easily be refluffed from Draconic Bloodline - choose Fire).
--2d. Tiefling + Divine Soul Sorcerer
--2e. Aasimar + Death/Forge/Trickery/War Domain Cleric
--2f. Tiefling + Arcana/Grave/Life/Light Domain Cleric
--2g. Aasimar + Oath of Devotion/Crown Paladin
--2h. Tiefling + Oath of Vengeance/Tyranny Paladin
3. Fallen Aasimar (Aasimar remains as with some option 2, but the twisting factors from birth - a cursed child – and immediately leads to falling from grace.)

I always pictured it as an albino version of a teiphling in the rare chance that the child survives. They may or may not have horns and the tail would be thin. The angelic nature of the aasimar would clense the curse for of the teiphling making an interesting hybrid. From there take the stats from one and the magic or glowing wing whatnot from the other. I personally have a PC based off this as a legacy character he is the child of an old teiphling character of mine

The Fiend Blooded Sorcerer is basically the evil (or even law or chaos) aligned Divine Soul Sorcerer. Like if you want to go full fiendish Sorcerer theme you could go Tiefling Divine Soul Sorcerer (Evil, gaining bat wings and Inflict Harm spell), then choose spells like Fireball, Planar Ally, Spiritual Guardians (evil version). Animate Undead, Create Undead, Spirit Weapon (Pitch Fork), Curse, Contagion, Darkness, ect... and Tiefling feats.
