Ability Increases for Divine Rank 0?

Heya,

Tonight during our epic gaming session myself and the other PCs gained divine rank 0. I remember reading in this forum that divine rank 0 deities get ability score bonuses, but cannot find anything in either Deities and Demigods or Faith and Pantheons. Help!

Thanks.

You have attained divine rank? Congrats! Say hi to God for me! :)

The much-bandied divine base stats are 35 28 25 24 24 24 (off the top of my head). You could increase all stats by +10 and add a +5 inherent bonus to all of them to simulate this array from the basic (25-point) PC array.

Except that none of the quasi-deities in Deities and Demigods seem to use the divine array. Based on Einherjar entries, it looks like they have just the elite array, adjusted for race and level.

Here's the summary I was sent when I asked this same question. Nothing about ability score increases was mentioned:

DIVINE RANK 0
*Becomes Immortal (doesn't age, no need to sleep, eat, or breathe)
*Gets maximum HP for every HD they possess
*Gains a faster movement speed (usually about double...)
*Gain a deflection bonus to AC equal to Cha modifier
*Gains immunity to Transmutation, Energy Drain, Ability Drain, Ability Damage, and Mind-Affecting effects
*Gains DR 35/+4, Fire Resistance 20, and SR 32

Additionally, I'd allow them to gain 3 domains that they can grant through appropriate sacrifices...a-la Juiblex's power.

As an aside, what do you all think the level adjustment for these benfits would be? I'm imagining first a "Quasi-Deity Template" that could be added to creatures, and then a "Savage Progression" style advancement for said template that would allow one to gradually slide into divinity.

My first thought is maybe LA +8?

They do use the divine array - but they also get a +1 stat increase per divine rank.

Take Nike, for example. She's got 40 levels (+10 stats) and has a divine rank of 5 (+5 stats, +15 total). Her stats are:

42 31 30 24 24 24

The divine array is:

35 28 25 24 24 24

Nike's added 7 pts to Str, 3 pts to Dex, and 5 pts to Con = 15 stat increases.

The comment was about quasi-deities (i.e. rank 0).
Erbin, from the D&Dg WE doesn't seem to use the divine array exactly, but he's pretty close:

As a quasi-deity, his abilities are 40 28 25 24 24 24.

The actual answer is...*drum roll*...whatever you want. The Rank 0 writeup states "...usually have one or more ability scores that are far above the norm...", which translates to "not always, if at all, but if so, you pick", which interestingly enough, supports the Einherjar entries and any other rank 0 entry that _does_ have stats above the norm.
