Even burned by lightning, Qynn is determined to stop the goblin with his freezing blade. His first sweep the goblin managed to avoid, but he could not foresee the blades return in double time.

Dane is surprised by how stout this goblin is, but with enough chops even the greatest tree will fall.

Taking out the potion from the pack, the jadite rushes towards the dwarf. "This time, I saved you dwarf" The sorcerer pours the restorative liquid in Hadrak's mouth, fighting off the dwarf's beard, that makes everything more complicated.

With many of his wounds closed, the shifter's muscles still course with his heritage. He strikes out again with his blades, the creature manages to dodge the non-magical blade, but the lightning blade once again strikes true.

[sblock=OOC]It seems to me that I can see (with cover) the goblin through the trap door on the ceiling. I don't think know how high is the first floor compared to the basement but I am assuming I am out of melee reach and won't get OAed. **It is six feet. This assessment seems fine to me**

Hadrak opens his eyes in his confusion.

-''Ah! Evil! No, not you Sheng. (Well, maybe a litttle). There!''

Hadrak blasts the goblin through the trap door.

-''Thanks, man. Appreciate it. *burbs*'' the dwarf says to the sorcerer.

In a last ditch effort to escape, barely hanging on, the goblin strikes one last time at the lone Eladrin blocking his path. Dane seizes the opportunity and raises his axe high above his head, seeking blood. His greed gets the better of him though, and the goblin shifts just buy what surely would have been a killing blow.

The goblin's eye begins to blink, Dane struggles to recover his momentum, as one of the shifters swords slices up between the dwarves legs. The sword slices up the goblins spine, revelaing a strange mix of bone, and steel, before its slumps into a bloody heap.

Dane kicks arouand the strange entrails this goblin had. He doesn't feel so bad realizing that this wasn't a true goblinkin. Once he realizes that its blood isn't acid, he grabs it by the leg and drags it out to the main stage while going through its belongings.

Strange bunch o' stuff her'. Mi figure it be saf'r in an inn wit a bard n' beer.

Dane pockets the potion and shows off the other items to the other party members with strange curiosity: odd looking glasses, an amulet with strange markings, a jade gem (100 gp) and 40 gold coins. He takes a closer look at the gob-borg.

Did we find da forge? I 'as woozy fer a few ticks down der.

Dane searches the other rooms, but is careful not to open any more trap/secret doors.

OOC: We are definatly going into short rest mode. Dane will burn 2 healing surges.

I use one HS to regain 7 HP. I f we would rest for ten minutes, our cleric could use Heling Word two times to give extra HP to the most wounded.

Essam and Grabbag are center stage. Essam looks quite releaved to see everyone showing up in one piece. Grabbag, however, still seems on the edge of consciousness.

"I'll go get those bolt cutters now." Says Essam.

[sblock=Dane] In the dressing rooms you find a purple and red silk robe of exceptional quality, that seems to stand out from the other costumes (Art Object worth 250 gp) and a pair of boots which looks mundane, but something in you're dwarven gut screams 'treasure'.

Down below you find a statue of a small obsidian horse, 2 more jades (100 gp each), another healing potion, and 110 gp.

While the metals in the goblin seem mundane, lots of copper and bronze, you do find bits of stone and wood here and there as well. As you tinker around with the goblin's arm you find a compartment containing refined residium.

The shifter catches his breath, and steels himself for the searching of the remaining areas. After tending to Incarnation, Rurdev turns to Hadrak. "Y-You owe m-me a p-potion for s-saving you. T-Try not to d-die next t-time." The shifter slaps the dwarf on the shoulder, then turns his attention to Grabbag.
