"Thanks, Gurg. Let's go get that drink."

If no one objects, Nyar leads the way to the Inkwell. The tavern is not too far from the Battle Pitt and served as the groups first tactics meeting place. Nyar buys a half dozen rounds of ale for Gurg before regrouping with his comrades outside.

"Well? What do you guys think?"

[sblock=ooc] I just wanted to get opinions on taking an extended rest or trying to head back in and trying to find Dhon or Patz? [/sblock]

"All right. As long as we don't run into any more possessed gladiators, we should be fine." Narvala says.

So next time, about keeping the better strategic position... We should do that, I'm not going to die, not for anything... I won't be coming after whoever breaks the line next time. This was too close, I went unconscious, if it weren't for Baern and Narvala both tending to my limp body, who knows what would have happened.
Veruza takes a ragged breath, a pained look crosses her face, and she coughs. Blood splatters her robe, as she removes her arm from her mouth the red liquid stands out starkly on the white cloth. A few short small breaths later, she speaks again Wherever we're going, better have beds, and large heavy doors. I want to sleep soundly tonight. Cairn, Baern, I vote you two go retrieve Patz, I'll be just outside the door.

Gurg, are there any other servants or gladiators here?
Veruza isn't sure if Gurg can handle all that, but asks anyway.

[sblock=ooc] Sounds good with me. KD, can we go together to get Patz before we leave with Gurg? [/sblock]

The group heads across the corridor to the other room. The door that was shut is now open about a foot or so. When the team enters the room, they find out that it is empty of people. The whistler is nowhere to be found. Inside the room they discover clotheslines strung across the room with various large towels, clothes, and items of clothing. Behind the clotheslines they find two large raised basins of water, one very dirty and the other only slighty cloudy. There are multiple bars of soap, mops, buckets, brushes, and other cleaning implements and supplies on or leaning on another counter. Many of these are wet as if someone had been recently using them. There are also two small wooden ladders, one in front of each of the basins of water. The floor itself is also wet where the various items on the clotheslines had dripped down.

Gurg, are there any other servants or gladiators here?

Gurg scratches his head. "Theys all go home. Itz be dark now. Patz be here someswhere. And Dhon be in his off, off, err, ruum."

Let's account for the short rest first (in case we're forced to fight) since we were healed to bloodied, I think we could just say we spend two surges to be at full hp. If we knew Dhon would be alone I'd say go for him, but as it is, I'd rather not risk it.

Extended rest vote #2
