[Adventure] Desolation Island (DM: jsb420; JUDGE: covaithe)

Jesse lurches forward before tumbling into an upright position. His earlier attempts to make himself smaller appears to have left him behind, while his team mates are fighting within the fray. In the distance, Jesse can see sparks spasming from who he assumes to be Ixenvalignat. Screams and yells can be picked up by the tieflings sensitive ears.

OOC: Life has been getting in the way and I recently got thumped quite badly by a bus. I had to do my English assignment for the my team of 3 people so it was triple workload for me, I had to film for some video which we will present to the lecturers, I have a test today, I need to study, uhm, and another assignment coming up soon. And I haven't done my tutorials which are due tomorrow

Ironheart hesitates as he hears Jesse scream from outside, but short of interposing his massive body as a shield for a single target there is nothing he can do. Meanwhile, Finnean is still outnumbered here. "Get into shelter as fast as you can!" he bellows, as he moves around the goblin, ignoring its weapon biting into his bark. As he moves, young green shoots curl up from between the flagstones all around him. They tangle about the feet of the goblin facing Finnean, and several of the rats break off to gnaw at them. As they are distracted, Ironheart smashes his axe down among them, throwing sparks off the stones and causing them to scatter and retreat, chittering. As his axe vibrates from the jolt, power rushes through his arms and the cuts in his bark begin to close. A joyful light begins to burn in his eyes. (RETRO – HIT cutter 3; AoO – HIT)
GM: [MENTION=79945]JoeNotCharles[/MENTION]: I have already made the swarm’s aura MBA against Ironheart. Be sure to make your save and EoT.

A flurry of small annoying creatures harasses Finnean. Ironheart buries his hammer into the heart of the swarm, distracting it. Finnean strikes out, stabbing rat after rat and then moves to handle the new goblins. Finnean continues to bleed from dozens of rat bites, but he taps into his psionic energy to heal himself. (HIT & no save)
GM: [MENTION=78756]Son of Meepo[/MENTION]: I have already made the swarm’s aura MBA against Finnean. Be sure to make your save and EoT.

Ixenvalingat rushes into the tower huffing and puffing,"*HUFF* Sorry *PUFF* I'm *Huff* late *PUFF*... *COUGHOUGOUGOUGH*!" Out of breath, the warlord erupts into a fit of coughing causing sparks to fly from his nostrils and from between his teeth. The electric conflagration fills the room, slaying the two goblins standing guard in the vestibule and singeing the rats as they scurry for cover, "Ahemahemahemm hmmm harruum!" Ixenvalignat thumps his chest, as if attempting to clear a blockage in his throat, "Excuse me, I'm a little out of shape. Did I miss anything?" (Double move; HIT, HIT & HIT)

Cyrus grunts as the arrow grazes him deeply across his right arm. He winches in pain as blood begins to slowly roll down his arm though he has no time to think about it. He continues to dash forwards though not quite as fast as before. Moving into the building he darts into the cover of the shadows within the room. Hoping to be over looked compared to the more loud and boisterous lot of his group. There he waits to strike from his concealed position. (Double move)

The sharpshooter remaining sharpshooter has to lean out between the crenellations in order to target Jesse with its bolt. (HIT)

The cutters make their way through the larder on their way to fight the intruders. None of them see the large feline as they head towards Finnean and Ironheart. (HIT, HIT & HIT)

Jesse dashes forward into the fray, passing by a wheezing Ixenvalignat, only to see a mixture of rats and goblins swarming over his two allies.

"I shall plunge you into the depths of the Nether Realms!" A green pillar of flames erupt from under Finnean's feet and devours two of the nearby goblins and flaying a good number of the rats. To all but his allies, where the pillar of flames were now lies a bottomless chasm, daring all to step forth.

OOC: I'd hold off on taking turns right now until jsb fixes the map. Finnean moved on his last turn, but it was missed. I have a feeling a lot of the monsters' turns will need to be redone.
