Dante complies, lashing out the second the warlord causes him to lower his defenses. As he jerks his kama free he nods to Max. "As you say War Master, these ones make good hunts together."

OOC: And a 4 - 6 attacks this round, nothing over an 8. At least most of them hit in spite of that fact...

The battle seems to be going poorly for the dragonmen. One of them falls to Dante's ferocious attacks and explodes in fire though the ranger easily dodges the death-pyre. The magus cries out again in a hissing language and the dragonman nearest him attacks Draglin.

Though the fighter stabs the dragonman, the sheer strength of the creatures pushes a javelin into him and tosses him back. The magus now steps back and calls out to Draglin in a slithering tongue.

Draglin turns, rage on his face and charges Max, stabbing him with a shortword. The other dragonman, freed from the mark of the fighter charges Jonathan, cutting into him with his axe. The greatsword wielding one shifts carefully back into a cell and tosses a drawn handaxe at Devinihm. That strikes a glancing blow while the dragonman next to him takes out a bigger slice before shifting away after the other and closing the door. The dazed dragonman simply swipes at Virgil.

Review of PC's turn: Draglin does 14 damage to MD, 9 to S1/S2/S3

S2 will provoke an AoO from Draglin by using a ranged attack, he is HIT, but also HITS with CA +2. Push Draglin 1 also. He then charges Dante with bonuses. Missing, Dante almost kills with Disruptive Strike.
MD will shift 1 and uses Dragon's Rage on Draglin HIT and he takes psychic and charges Max HIT
S1 will charge Jonathan HIT
B1 will shift 2 and throw a handaxe at Devinihm HIT
B2 will attack Devinihm HIT, shift 3 and close the door
B3 will attack Virgil HIT

I am sorry Maximilian! The foul magic bewitched my senses momentarily. Do not fear however, for I am back to normal! Draglin shouts.

Foul sorcerer! Thou dark deeds are at an end! Draglin shouts, rushing over to the dragonmage. His swords flash in the torchlight and with a rapid barrage of blows he duly dispatches the dastardly displayer of darkness!

Any ally within three squares of max can shift 1/2 movement speed as a free action.

Bravura Presence

When an ally Max sees spends an action point to take another action to use it as an attack, the ally can choose to take advantage of this feature before the attack roll.

If the ally chooses to do so and the attack hits, then the ally can choose to do the following after the AP action:
* make a basic attack +1 to hit (due to feat: improved bravura)
or
* make a move action as a free action +1 added to ally's speed for movement (due to feat: improved bravura)

If the AP attack misses, the ally grants CA to all enemies TENT.

Clearly worth the risk :)

As another foe falls to his blades, Dante turns and sees Virgil under attack. He rushes back to Virgil's aid and, before the dragon-man attacking Virgil has time to react, three deep slashes run across his body.

OOC: @dimsdale , you'll have to attack someone else since Dante already killed S2: S2 had 2 hp and Dante does +2 damage against bloodied foes, so he died to Disruptive Strike before he got his attack off. S2 doesn't get his immediate reaction on-death thingy either since he died during his turn :) For the same reason, Max can't use Vengeance is mine during his turn :(

Dante did 38 damage to MD, assuming he got the +2 for bloodied on his second attack, not counting the 5 ongoing damage the magus took at the start of his turn. Not sure if he got his MBA from Max, but if he did, Dante did 97 damage last round - with some help from Max of course. :)

Short version of this turn: Dante did 38 damage to B3 +2-4 more depending on when B3 went bloodied. B3 also grants CA to Dante until the end of Dante's next turn.

@Luinnar Nice damage! Well-built Fighters are 1/2 striker in my book.

Question for anyone with the actual books and/or compendium access: I can only move Virgil when I take a move action, correct? I'm hoping I'm able to move him anytime I move, rather than just when I take a move action...
