Max, still not out, digs down deep into his reserves. Glad I got that training. Didn't think it would come in handy this quickly. Max chuckles at the thought. Even close to death he still finds away to laugh while in the heat of battle. The power of his boots lift him with ease off the ground. He shifts to avoid being flanked and then stabs his sword between eyes of the evil Draglin. The power of the thrust drives his weapon all the way to the hilt. Max screams in triumph as the foe instantly collapses to the grownd. Max feels more power and vigor flow through his body. WHO"S NEXT! COME'N! The warlord's eyes beam with intensity.

OOC: Note: I have Max making an adjacent shift to eDr. if that provokes an OA please don't include the the move. He'll stay where he's at.

Any ally within three squares of max can shift 1/2 movement speed as a free action.

Bravura Presence

When an ally Max sees spends an action point to take another action to use it as an attack, the ally can choose to take advantage of this feature before the attack roll.

If the ally chooses to do so and the attack hits, then the ally can choose to do the following after the AP action:
* make a basic attack +1 to hit (due to feat: improved bravura)
or
* make a move action as a free action +1 added to ally's speed for movement (due to feat: improved bravura)

If the AP attack misses, the ally grants CA to all enemies TENT.

Clearly worth the risk :)

When Draglin falls he shatters into tiny fragments of mirror shards. The enchantment seems to be failing the other doppelgangers as well, those heavily injured are losing flakes of skin exposing small bits of mirror below. Nonetheless they continue as if nothing is amiss.

Mab seems to toss a dagger at Draglin though she really only reaches with an unnaturally long arm. My magics are stronger than that fake Auntie, let me show you. The dragonborn does not even see her and her "thrown" knife finds his throat.

Devinihm stays as a swarm and approaches his other, the bugs from this one seem to fall to the ground more frequently as it loses consistency. His swarm mixes with the natural Devinihm causing the true wilden to become wild and attack his ally Max, though the warlord deflects the blow with his shield.

The distraction allows Jonathan to pull back, his odd weapon is even odder now, reflecting light and energy like a lightning bolt. He throws it down in front of him, creating an area of hopping lightning and echoing thunder. Devinihm drops under the assault and Max is pushed away.

Resistance is futile, why do you struggle so? says Dante to his twin as he moves over to lash their beast companion. Max is still entangled by Jonathan's trap and can't see from his bleeding eyes. He calls out Mab, stab that dang spear chucker! She hits Jonathan and the rest of the mirror duplicates seem invigorated by the spilled blood and shift into position while he moves out of the entangling web.

Evil Devinihm will move to mirror rubble, attack Devinihm HIT does damage and slide Devinihm 5 squares and he makes a MBA vs Max (can I use Savage Rend?) MISS in any case
Evil Jonathan will shift 1 and use his recharged area effect on Max MISS (for 9 damage and slide 1) and Devinihm HIT for 18 damage (I don't think your DR work for Area spells, but let me know) and slide 2 and he is prone. Also Iron Sky was right, you only have 1 resistance and you need both
Zone: Any enemy that ends it turn in the zone takes 10 lightning and thunder damage
Evil Dante will move over to join Evil Mab and get two attacks against Virgil MISS/MISS
Evil Max will throw an area attack at Virgil and friends (no penalties PHB 281) and Evil Auntie Mab gets a MBA HIT and Evil Max uses ability to move around allies and move out of the entangling mess. Since I forgot he saved last round (Jonathan got his attack at the start of eMax turn MISS)

Devinihm, wilden druid

OOC: Re-reading the feature, johnmeier1, looks like you're right, sadly. Text reads that the DR is for "melee and ranged" powers, which are different than area powers, I think? (I still can't quite get my head around all the keywords and attack types and how they interrelate in 4e). That class ability just got a lot less useful. :(


Once again, Devinihm's swarm is decimated, the remaining beetles, wasps, and flies clumping together in an effort to reconstitute themselves.
