Only Tana is able to withstand the mental onslaught, holding her ground in the face of such odds. Tana decides that Brondin and the other can corner the last undead, freeing her up to toss her weapon at it. The spade-like blade buries itself in the unholy creature's neck slicing clean through its spine, leaving the head of the creature dangling.
OOC: ??? Tana is my character. She's probably not doing anything this round because it seems like Ghourra finished off the bad guy before I checked into the game this morning.

OOC: I'll wait with the action until [MENTION=6671055]horticulture[/MENTION] describes it's death so there is no surprises. Bellegon would use second wind and 1 healing from someone so he doesn't have to rest...keeping his aura level at 4 :) and sacrificing cursebite and life siphon in the next encounter...I guess? Depends on the description.
 

The accursed undead simply falls to the ground after Brondin and Ghourra's vicious strikes, its head bouncing off the ground with a dull thud; an ugly snarl is still plastered on its deformed face. The ragged shard hanging around the corpse's neck still illuminates the room in a sickly purple light. There are no strange explosions of dark energy upon the death of the fallen priest, as Bellegon might have feared, just a strange quiet and the heavy breathing of the heroes.
GM: Sorry about the delay, gang, it's been a hectic weekend. I'm actually surprised I had the time to post the previous combat post.

Combat's over, obviously. Feel free to do standard adventurer stuff for a post or two and then we'll get things moving again.
 

Brondin takes a breath to calm the adrenaline in his system, shaking off some lingering effects from the undead creatures. Dark and vile, but dead at last, Brondin thinks. He nudges the undead priest’s mangled body with his foot, wary of any foul effects from the corpse.

”Return ye to Onatar’s forge, like untempered iron returnin’ to the fire. May Onatar’s cleansin’ flame help make you anew.” mutters Brondin. He walks back to the others and says, ”Ghourra, lass, look over the bodies of Doran and ‘is Daggers, if’n ya don’t mind. Bellegon, what’d ya think the glowin’ trinket is?”
