"Helping us? Summoned?" Ewald thinks. "Well, they can still help us if we're a distance away, can we?" he adds with a small bit of sarcasm.

Ewald is grateful to feel Devlin stirring and carries him gently, hoping that he doesn't make his wounds hurt any more that they must already do. "Hang in there, Devlin. You're away from them, just keep still." He looks over his shoulder while walking, trying to figure out what is happening behind him.

Fleeing from the storm, and possibly those things that have traveled with, you all manage to cover 600 feet or so before you spot two more twisters, still in their whirlwind form ahead. One is about 200 feet away, directly in the way which is believed to head to the cavern. The other is slightly farther, 240 feet away, whirling somewhat to the west and farther away than the other.

Gur shouts out, "We have to get around them! Theres a ditch over there!" Gur points directly to the west. "It's probably flooded!" Shouting, and still trying to see through the storm, he continues, "If we can make it to the ditch, we can cross around to the cavern through it. I think it would provide us some concealment!" Gur then begins to worry about the water, and his seemingly disabled friend Devlin...

Argus and Silvercat can see what appears to be a ditch, a sharp downward curve in the land, about 180 feet away. (Successful spot)

Trusting to Gur's Outdoorsman's skill, Silvercat heads for the ditch, his blade at the ready.

Shariff:
You can see what appears to be a body of some kind (humanoid, medium sized) in the opposite direction of the ditch.

"Hey guys! There's a body over there." Shariff points to the prone figure. "Maybe we should go to see if he's still alive." Without waiting to hear a reply Shariff is off and running towards the body.

"Gah.... don't go alone Sharrif... wait for me....."

*Corix thinking that it's a bad idea for shariff to go off byhimself veers off as well in the direction shariff is heading*

Silvercat maintains his vigil regarding the others of the group, though he does hope that folks don't start to run ff here and there (That just wouldn't do...).

Even though Ewald doesn't see the ditch, he'd like to get away as fast as possible. He nods to Gur and follows him, still carrying Devlin in between them.

Upon hearing that the two small men are about to check out some body, Ewald looks worried. Over his shoulder, he tries to warn them a bit. "Guys, watch out there. We're in enough trouble as it is... Please keep the rest of us posted on what you find."

Silvercat keeps his eyes peeled for danger.

OoC:I am off to bed,CS. Please don't let me hold up the game, as it may not be until this afternoon, 8 hours hence that I can Post again...just auto-play me.

Dragging the horse after him, Gregorian, heads towards the supposed ditch ahead, hoping that it's big enough to accomidate him and his horse.

Hearing about the body off in the other direction, he shrugs and continues towards the ditch. He was not about to risk his hide for someone or something that may already be dead!
