Spotting Sirrah, he mutters, "By the Seven, this better not be the damn afterlife..."

He groans as he sits up, hands over the cuts in his skin, "What in the blazes happened after the troll ate me?"

"The troll ran off when all of its allies were down." Tana said. "Though he might have been able to take everyone who was conscious at the time. Another solid hit wouldn't have done me much good."
 

"Indeed. But we prevailed in the face of defeat. Our tactics might have not been the cleanest I've seen, but it kept us alive." Hilkalas says, then reconsiders. "At least the ones that were alive to begin with. Jasper!" He barked. "Approach, it is safe now. My friends, I fear these are not simple random and improvised bandits. That was a skirmishing party, well organized and coordinated. I am not liking this at all."
 


OOC: Rolling a 20 on your death save does not spend your second wind, it just lets you spend a healing surge.


20 or Higher: The adventurer taps into his or her will to live, represented by being able to spend a healing surge. If the adventurer has at least one surge left and now spends it, he or she is considered to have 0 hit points, and then the healing surge restores hit points as normal. The adventurer is no longer dying, and he or she is conscious but still prone.

Ok, so Rava, Jayce, and Sirrah are up to 1/4 hit points and it cost them each a healing surge. Rava can heal everyone (over multiple short rests) their surge value +2d6 + 11 hit points per healing surge. For most PCs, that means that one healing surge will get them up near maximum and they might need to decide whether to take two heals.

Please make the heal roll for your PC (except for Hilkalas where the roll is irrelevant) and post your revised stat block.
