Clomping over the dead body of the crispifried hyena, Crag steps around his mark and flanks his foe with Ingot. Swinging his sword at the hyena's midsection, he finds a weak point in it's armor and draws a long line of blood. Hearing his friends words, he nods.

"Whenever you're ready friend! He'll not escape my next attack!"

OOC: the idea was to give Crag the Righteous Brand bonus BEFORE he attacked... but it turned out that he didn't need it. :) He'll have it for next time, that hyena should be toast!

Ingot seizes its change and strikes at the hyena, calling on Vulkar to reveal its weakness to his ally. The blow strikes true, and the hyena howls in pain. A glowing hammer floats over it, indicating to Crag where to strike.

Confident that Crag will not allow the wounded beast to escape, Ingot steps back, trying to cut off the other hyena's approach to the fleeing monks.

Hadrak steps back and focu better this time. A powerful blast of light seriously hurt the hyena cornering Dorn.

-''Take heart, Dorn!'' Hadrak shouts, closing the half-orc's wound with the aid of Efaystos.

Dorn struggles to remain focussed despite the awful wound in his shoulder, and is greatly relieved to feel Hadrak's divine aid wash over him.

With new found determination, Dorn reaches into himself, grabs the source of his arcane power and just... squeezes. Flames erupt around him, incinerating one of the hyenas.

"Never much liked dogs," he says with a bit of forced bravado.

Dorn takes a cautious step backwards, wary of the other hyenas and fearful of the next arrow

The hyenas encircle Ingot again, including one of the hyenas from the other group, and the warforged cleric is bitten twice by the creatures, the newcomer just misses. Seeing Ingot staggering with the blows, Yanni places a shot into his neck, sending the cleric to the ground, his life ebbing as the slavering creatures yelp with delight.

[SBLOCK=OOC: Clarification on Skalisss' Marks]Hyena3 is currently marked by Divine Challenge. Hyena1 is no longer marked, that marked ended when his last turn ended. Thanks.

-''No, Ingot, a faithful of Eefaystos does not go down so easily, get up!'' Hadraks shouts, imparting the will of his god to these words. The warforge immediately opens his eyes.

Hadrak then turns his attention to the hyena.

-''Enough!'' he snarls and bolts from heaven strike left and right, slaying two beasts.

[sblock=Ingot heals 12 hp and gains 1thp]
Move : shift one squre to the left (to be in range for healing word)

Minor : Healing Word on Ingot
Healing word on Ingot, Healing surge value=6 (1d6+5+6=12) urg, not the best moment for a 1.

Lance of faith vs Hyena 3
Sacred Flame VS Hyena 3 Ref 14 (1d20+6=16, 1d8+7=11) hit for 11, its dead.

Action Point (I got two, better use one! Didn't use it in the first fight)

Sacred Flame vs Heyena 5

[sblock=Ingot]Remember the sometime forgotten rule that when you spend a healing surge while in negative HP, you heal from 0, not from (in your case) -7. So Ingot has 12 +1 / 27

Still a sticky situation when there is a madman shooting 1d10+9 at us, I know.

[sblock=I am out of Healing Word!]
Just so you know. As soon as I am level 2, Hadrak will gain HP transferance and will swap Turn undead for the new channel divinity that heals bloodied allies. My healing power will double! But as of now, I am out. We got our healing potions and what Ingot has left.

[sblock=ooc]Thanks, Hadrak!

I thought Crag could stop one of the hyenas he marked from getting to Ingot with his Warden powers? But I didn't actually look to see the details of his powers... better check it next time.

We've gotta get at that gnoll, can anyone pull him off the wall?[/sblock]

Dorn stands in awe of Hadrak's display for a moment before acting. He steps toward the remaining hyenas (Move to H12) and sends another rolling wave of flame from his hands, blasting one of the beasties (OOC Burning spray hits hyena one (misses hyena 4) for 12 fire damage + furious assault = 1 extra damage (13 total)).

"Gonna make me pay for that, too?" Dorn shouts, a trifle foolishly.

[sblock=Hadrak]Yeah, no worries, I had max HP plus temp hp, it's bad luck the gnoll hit me for max damage (maybe he critted?) It's part of the game. And at least most of the monks have gotten away.[/sblock]
[sblock=Crag's Interrupts]So, having actually looked at Crag's interrupt powers rather than relying on some vague recollection, I see that he couldn't use Warden's Fury for the attack which might have finished the marked hyena, because it wasn't within his melee range. I'll remember not to move so far away from him next time. He could have used Warden's Grasp, though, which would have let him slide the hyena. It's an interrupt, so I think it would have pretty much foiled the hyena's attack, because he could have slid it out of its melee range.

No doubt, Ingot would still have needed healing, though, after that nasty arrow![/sblock]
[sblock=I am out of Healing Word!]

OOC: Ingot has one Healing Word remaining. And a second wind, which it will probably use next turn. :)
