I was afraid that it would be my turn and you guys would have to wait on me, so I went ahead and posted. If something happens that changes that my turn, it's cool. I can always do something different.[/sblock]
 

Round 1 update

[sblock=ooc]Ok, I cannot update the map at this time, but no positions will have changed except Kaeysari's, plus two more enemies will be revealed. So here is a quick summary of the changes:

"Stay alert, everyone," Kaeysari says. "There are probably more around." She advances cautiously down the bridge, keeping her weapon ready to strike.

The dwarf does not advance. Instead, he readies a smaller club that looks designed for throwing, and stands ready.

In the jungle to either side of the dwarf, two figures suddenly appear seemingly out of thin air. One moment there was nothing besides the mass of branches, leaves and ferns, the next the people were clearly visible.

[sblock=Arcana DC 20 (active, trained only)]A faint aura around the men (and the dwarf) reveals that they are under the effects of a ritual known as Traveler's Camouflage. This helps the recipient blend in to their environment, muffles their sounds and obscures their tracks, greatly improving stealth. But the effect is suspended when the recipient takes aggressive or stressful action. (i.e., when an encounter starts :))[/sblock]

The man to the north of the bridge is tall with pale skin gleaming slightly in the dim light. He makes a coughing sound, and a projectile flies towards Kaeysari. Despite the long range it catches the shifter on the knee, where she feels a sharp, burning pain. Looking down, she sees a small viper hanging by its fangs from her flesh, continuing to inject poison.

The man to the south of the bridge waves a short blade in the air, then draws it across his bare forearm. With a flicking motion he arcs droplets through the air aimed at Papolstaanas, but they fall far short, splashing harmlessly in the river. He then points the dagger at Kaeysari and briefly chants. She feels a quickening of the venom in her bloodstream, but shakes off the effect.

Jynxx smiles broadly, "Yet another tale for the tavern..." Jynxx looses an arrow at the dwarf. It strikes true, eliciting a yelp of pain from the target.

I'm sorry, I forgot all about what you asked about the Virtue. Of course I'd like to use it. I think for the sake of moving the game along without me interrupting two seconds it would be easiest to just do it at the beginning of the encounter. If it's too late to use it on Kaey, then whoever gets hit next please.

I don't think Jynxx will take a move or a minor yet. I kind of want to wait to see what the group does (but I will wait until next round).

Chaku takes his que from Kaeysari, and rush up next to her. Yay, more poison, my favorite... he mumbles, looking down at her snake stuck to her.

Azryah looks at the bridge for a moment. She's a bit unsure how much weight the whole thing can support, and seems unsure if she should rush out to it as well. She speaks quietly without turning, pitching her voice so that hopefully Krassus would hear her but those on the other side of the bridge will not.

Then she carefully moves out onto the bridge and gives her opponents a look over, and carefully peers around to see if there are signs of anyone else about to jump out in ambush. She is careful to look down and over the edge as well, in case there is anything or anyone lying in wait in the water below, perhaps behind some of the rocks.
